Super Mario Bros 2 on the NES is an awesome classical game to play. I remember playing this all the time in the past and would never stop playing it. In my opinion, this game is different compared to the first one and the third one. The game play is so awesome. I guarantee that this game is so much fun.

Graphics - 10

The graphics are great. The only thing that I realized was that Toad is blue instead of red. I do not mind that, I think he looks better in blue. The effects in this game are great. It is just like any other Mario game.

Sound - 10

The sound is awesome. Just hearing the music while you are playing just makes you love the game even more. The sound effects are what they sound like in any other Mario game, with the jumping and the throwing.

Addictiveness - 9

Like I said, I would play this a lot of times, so I would definitely play this a lot more. It is just so much fun and it does not get old for me.

Story - 7

The story is kind of confusing because it is not what you expect. There are four heroes in the game that you can be and you go and save something called Subcon (I have no idea what that is) from an evil toad-looking creature named Wart. Usually, it would be Bowser, but in this game, it is Wart. Kind of confuses everyone about that since they went right back to Bowser in Super Mario Bros 3, but it still is a good game.

Depth - 8

The game does not have much in it, but it still has some good things that make people want to play it. First of all, you can be either Mario, Luigi, Toad, or Princess Peach. The best part about this is that when you use them in one of the levels, you can choose the others in the other levels or you can just pick the same character you picked last time. Another thing about it is that there is secrets that are just like the first one, where you can warp to a different level. In this game, it is harder to find them. I have not found any, but I do not care about them since I can at least beat the game.

Difficulty - 5

The game is not that hard. I have beaten it about 3 times and I had no problem with it. The enemies are easy and the levels are okay. The only thing that is annoying is the head moving randomly in the level and you cannot get away from it unless you get out of the area. It is annoying and that is probably the hardest enemy in the game. The bosses are easy if you understand the way they fight.

Wrap Things Up...

Super Mario Bros 2 is a fun game to play. I highly recommend trying this game out if you have not already. The game is so much fun and I guarantee that you will enjoy it. Play it now.

I never played SMB2 that much, because I found it to be so different compared to the others. I don't hate it because it's different, but I just never had the incentive to play it because it's not as critically acclaimed as say, Super Mario Bros 3.
