Yoshi on the NES is a pretty good game to play. I tried it out and it was very fun for me, but as it started to get harder, my brain was starting to get so messed up. It is a puzzle game, kind of like Tetris, but a whole lot different. It has some good interests and the puzzle is fun. I know I have tried this game out before and I thought that it was pretty fun, till I stopped playing it. But then I decided to play it till I lose and it can get you very easily.
Graphics - 9
The graphics are very good. The images of the characters are very well-made and there is no mess ups. It sure is not bad for an NES game. I like how in 2-player mode, the second player is Luigi. That is very cool than to have two Marios.
Sound - 9
The sound is okay. There is a menu that you can choose either one of the three songs or just mute it when you are playing. Trust me, the menu looks just like Tetris.
Addictiveness - 7
I would play it some of the time because the puzzle game is sure quite interesting. I like playing puzzle games and if you like playing them, you will enjoy playing this.
Story - N/A
There is no story in this game. All you do is match up the right characters and I guess you get points for doing that. There are two images, one is bottom half of an egg and the other is the top half of the egg. If you put them together, you get a baby Yoshi and I think you get more points for doing that.
Depth - 7
The game has some good features. For instance, you can play a 2-Player match and it is pretty fun. You verse each other and if you lose, the other player wins. I can tell you now again, it is most likely just like Tetris. Now in the menu screen, you can choose either game A or game B. There are up to 5 levels and you can change the speed. Another thing, like I said, is that you can change the songs. Then the rest is just playing the game.
Difficulty - 5
The game can be quite difficult when you are at a more father level. In the beginning, it is pretty basic and very easy to play, but when it starts to get harder, you start to rush and try not to mess up. It can be very hard for some players, but for me, it is just a bit hard.
Wrap Things Up...
Yoshi on the NES is a good Yoshi game to be honest. There are other Yoshi games and they are sometimes these kinds of games. I recommend trying this game out, it is a fun puzzle game and it is very fun to play with friends too. Overall - 8
