Mario Bros. Classic on the NES is one of the classics (of course) on the NES console. It is a very good game and it plays as games like Donkey Kong, Pacman, Tetris, etc. It is a never ending game till you run out of lives. I have played this kind of game before, like on Super Mario Bros. 3 and Mario & Luigi - Superstar Saga on the GBA, but I did not know that it has it's own game cartridge on the NES. I love it when they made the colors right because on the Atari 2600, Mario was blue and that made it so confusing.

Graphics - 8

The graphics looks a bit out of shape, but it is not bad. The enemies look okay and Mario just looks a bit blocky, but this would not stop you from playing the game. I think that the game background changes if you get into a farther level, but I am not sure cause I have not gotten that far and I know that it does on Mario & Luigi - Superstar Saga on the GBA.

Sound - 8

The sound is quite alright. What I do not get is that whenever Mario walks he makes a beeping sound, which can get annoying. Other than that, everything seems to be fine.

Addictiveness - 7

I would not count on playing this frequently because it is just not my kind of thing of playing. Although the game is fun, it just seems to me that I would not play it again when I get a game over.

Story - N/A

There is no story in this game. All you do is defeat enemies till the end and get a good high score.

Depth - 6

The game does not have a lot of things. The only thing it has is a 1 to 2 player game and you can choose either an easy difficulty or a hard difficulty. It is pretty fun to try it out on 2 player in hard difficulty, that sounds fun. The game plays like the other games I mentioned related to this. You beat the level and you do it again, but in a little more difficult level.

Difficulty - 4

Now if you are playing this game on easy, you should do fine. I have not played it on a hard difficulty, but I assume that it is very hard because I played Donkey Kong on the NES on hard (1 Player B) and I could not beat the first level. The enemies are not that hard to beat too, just be sure to focus on what is coming at you and what is not.

Wrap Things Up...

Mario Bros. Classic is a very good game. I recommend trying this if you have not already. It just brings that good feeling back from the past and you would assume that it would suck, but it is not.

Yeah,I would say that its a pretty good game,I never knew how to do it though but it was fun to play in the game,and in Super Mario Bros 3,you also get to play the game,but only when your doing 2 player mode in the game

Hey I was gunna write this review! Well I am going to soon anyway but this is a really good review.

I must kind of disagree on the whole difficulty thing. I enjoy games that are really hard though so I guess that is one of my biases.
