You can reasonably make 30 leggy quality posts an hour, and if you did that all day, minus one hour for all your eating and drinking needs throughout the day, you could reasonably make 690 posts in a day, and not be totally spammy. This doesn't take into account fatigue, laziness, boredom, and the like, but only if you have an iron will for posting.

One other thing that could be thought about is the fact that depending on where you post the post can be a certain length... I mean, most questions in the Polls and Questions forum don't really need to be answered with a 100 plus word post, they can usually be answered in one to two sentences without causing any problems. 

I bet that if people starting posting with you then 400-500 is actually a pretty possible outcome on a really active day. The biggest problem that one would face is the lack of places to post... after 150 it becomes of a sandwiching and crazy house type of thing to get higher. There would need to be 3-4 people getting 200+ to even have a chance at making it completely non-spammy.

I'm just trying to rationalize how some day we may see someone hit 600 in a day here. It's physically possible, and if people work at it, I'm sure it would legit happen.

For now though, I think the limit is 300. Not sure how much higher you can get with the current activity level.
