windows 8 isn't out yet, no ill not be getting it unless I have to buy a new computer I'm hoping not... ill wait for windows9 it'll be better anyway.

It's not exactly just a new UI over Windows 7. There are a lot of new features. For instance, it locks into your Live account, and share settings across all PCs running that account. I've installed Windows 8 twice and it carried over many of my settings. At least, it remember my wallpaper and Window colors. It also has better power management, speech recognition and touch capability. It is binary compatible with Windows 7, but don't be fooled into thinking it's the same thing. There are a lot of improvements across the board.

That said, yes, I am using Windows 8 right now, and it's pretty nice. Metro is beautiful, but it's really difficult to use without a touch screen, so I just turn it off and use the regular desktop mode. Windows 8 is really pretty though, and I can't wait for the official release!
