Overall - 8.5
Castlevania on the Nintendo 64 is a good game to play. you can move anywhere and it is 3D. I personally think that they did lazy on this game because they just figured why not put a Castlevania game on the Nintendo 64 like Mega man and you know how that game turned out. Although, for this game, it is quite a good making, but didn't figure this game out through.
Graphics - 9
Like I said, the graphics are 3D and good. I think it was a good thing to make a 3D game of Castlevania, but did it have to be a bit messy to make them.
Sound - 10
The sound is different, which is good. The game play sound is very scary and the battle sounds are very amazing. When that first bolt of lightning hit the tree, I freaking got scared. That is what Castlevania was meant to be. Heck, I was even stupid to fall for it again, but it is what you get if you tried this game out for the first time lol.
Addictiveness - 7
This game is what I would probably play often. I have seen some videos that look like some parts are just not fair, but it still is a pretty fun game to try out. The best part about it is that you can play as two people. It's like if you beat the game with one person, why not try out the other character.
Story - 6
The story is very short. Basically, the two people have to stop Dracula, that's it. I even read the description on here and it is kind of what I just said just now. They could have made a good story of it, but I am not sure. I do not wait for something to show on the menu screen.
Depth - 7
This game has some good features like the movement. You can move anywhere in the level since it is not a 2D game. The enemies are amazing, they just made them perfect for the game.
Difficulty - 5
The game is not that hard to be exact. I think that the puzzle of this game is hard. It took me 10 minutes to figure out what to do to the door. Who would of thought about blowing up the crest on the door, not me. Anyways, at least the enemies are not hard in this game.
Wrap Things Up...
Castlevania on the Nintendo 64 is a good game to try out for the Castlevania fans. I recommend trying this game out, the way it is made is completely different and scarier. Also, there is another game on the N64, but I am not sure what is the difference, it could be hard or a completely different game from this one.
