So in this review I will review the great game known as Mario Kart 64, which is known by me as my personal favorite Mario Kart game of all time. Let's get to the Reviewing.

DIFFICULTY: 6
The game has its challenges, especially the tougher courses like Rainbow Road or the difficulty settings in the 150cc or the Extra mode, which is the Mirror mode in Mario Kart 64. It has its challenges, but not if you set its difficulty in the game. So, I give it about a 6, I don't find it very hard at all, really, then again, I have played this game hundreds of times, so I'm use to that setting. Its somewhat easy to defeat the game. I would say that if you play this the first time, it shouldn't give you too much trouble, I say take the easy route and work your way up.

DEPTH: 5
The game isn't long at all, not really. The game just sums up to 5 groups of tracks, Mushroom, Flower, Star, and Special Cup, and it conseals about 4 courses each. You can defeat all 5 in about 2 hours or so. Not long tracks at all, but you don't beat the game super duper fast. But you can beat the game in one sitting if you want to. Not too short, yet, not too long at all either.

STORY: 0 (None)
There isn't a story for this game, not even a small one, really. The Mario Kart never had a story at all, just you attempting to be the fastest Kart racer of the bunch. That is pretty much what the story CAN sum up, but it never clarifies if it ever had a story, just race to win, no backstory at all.

ADDICTIVENESS: 10
Oh you have no idea how much time I spent playing this game when I was younger. This game is very fun and once you start, you will not put down the controller/keyboard. Yeah, its that addicting, the gameplay is pretty sweet, and legendary if I may add. I sound like a broken record by now, but this game is SUPER addicting and the courses will be super fun to play, especially if you play with a friend.

SOUND: 10
The Music wins it all the credit, the best part of the game is its soundtrack imo. The Rainbow Road music, Mario Raceway, and Toad's Turnpike is the best part of the game, that is the thing that will bring you back for more gameplay, I can garantee you that. Haven't heard of the music? Go to youtube and look for Rainbow Road, it will blow you away. Its Awesome.

GRAPHICS: 9
The game can be simplified with many things, but these graphics are very impressive in the 64 bit era, the color complex and the variation of pictures, walls, and even billboard signs are very clever, I really liked those variations. I find them entertaining to look at.

OVERALL: 9.8
To wrap things up, I really enjoy every bit of this game with a passion, I would love to own this again for my N64, but at least I have my memories in my PC. Great game overall, I am Definitely Recomending that you go to the RGR and play this RIGHT NOW.

Personally I prefer Super Mario Kart for the SNES.  The graphics and music weren't as good but I think the karts handled better, and I liked the tracks better.  This could just be because it was the version I had the most time to play.

I loved the game cube one! I just loved that you could have 2 people on the kart at once! It was cool to me.

Yea like the person above me said, Double dash was my favorite. I liked the fact you teamed up and everything, felt fresh
