I'm currently reading a book called "No Less Than Victory" by Jeff Shaara. This book is a fictional/factual interpretation of near the closing days of WW2 and one of Adolf Hitler's final retaliations against American and British forces. It is a very interesting read and appeals directly to my own tastes in literature. Its is a gritty and realistic, yet somewhat humorous in situation and dramatic irony. The characters are compelling, and the actual writing is fantastic.

I recently read The Ranger's Apprentice: Halt's Peril. It's a really good book. It's about a peasant who turns into one of the greatest heroes in the valley by completing challenging quests and tasks his mentor prepares for him.

The last book I read was 'The Hunger Games' by Suzanne Collins. The book follows Katniss Everdeen as she fights for her life in the televised 74th Annual Hunger Games. It takes place in the future after North America has been destroyed and a nation called Panem has taken it's place. The Capitol, the wealthiest area of Panem rules over the thirteen districts, which are very poor and have little food, that make up the rest of Panem.

Years ago a rebellion took place against the Capitol which resulted in the Capitol creating the sick and twisted Hunger Games. Every year one boy and one girl (they're called tributes) between the ages of 12 and 18 are chosen from each district to participate and ultimately fight to the death in a massive arena thats controlled by the gamemakers from the Capitol. The winners district get food for the year and the winner themself gets fame and fortune.

I really enjoyed this book and found it very captivating and emotional. I was on the edge of my seat and stayed up all night to finish it.

I finished reading "City of Ember" a while ago.

When mankind is about to come to an end, a group of scientists decide to create and populate a city deep underground. The city of Ember is to last for 200 years after which its inhabitants are to retrieve from a strong box instructions to return to the surface. Over time however, the message is lost and life in Ember is rapidly deteriorating. Their power supply is failing and food is being rationed. It's left to two young adults to unearth the secret of Ember and to lead the way out.

I've also watched the movie. The moles freaked me out.

I recently finished this book that I had been reading in the library which was regarding the adult entertainment industry (you know the one). After that, I picked up from the book that I got for Christmas, Thinking Fast And Slow. Very interesting read. I feel smarter reading it. Though I do tend to fall asleep after a while lol. I put that book back down and continued reading Things Fall Apart. I really liked that story the first time I heard it so I decided to go at it again; five years after my initial experience.

Last book I read was Dante's The Divine Comedy, a wonderful piece of renaissance literature, I love how it deviates from the standard structure of a poem.

I've taken a break from, but am in the middle of the Steve Jobs Biography by Walter Isaacson. It is definitely an interesting read (in between classes and during breaks) and I learned a lot about Steve from his biography that I had no idea about before, like that he was a total jerk. XD and he really didn't even know that much about programming. He was extremely influential though.

The most recent book I have read was called "I heart you, You haunt me" by Lisa Schroeder.
It's about 200 and some pages long, but it's not written like a normal book. Though it is rather good.
I have yet to read more books by this other but I do plan too at some point.

I just finished reading Bioshock: Rapture by John Shirley.  This book should seriously be required reading for anyone who was/is a fan of the games.  It basically gives you the low down on how Rapture came to be and what went wrong.  I had always wondered that and was really happy to see it put together and so well.  Couldn't put it down, loved it.

The last book I read was a reread of Vanish by Tom Pawlik. It's a little Christian oriented, but not much about the divide between live and death.

I recently read "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins, after seeing the movie with a bunch of friends, I decided to read the book. I loved the first book so much that I'll read the second and third as well.
