Do you have any house chores around the house that you do for an allowance or not? Do you possibly have something different? While I do have have normal chores, I also have an example of something else.

If me or my siblings want to play video games we have to do the laundry. This was a compromise we made with our parents several years ago and it still applies today.

I just do my own thing. I sometimes get an allowance on how good i do and what I'm capable of not caring about what I do like cleaning or washing. I do my own thing, but if I was told to do something I might do it. I would say no allowance though depending on how your budget is. If my parents were rich, I expect to get an allowance. But if they aren't, then I would not want them to waste money on me so that the budget money would get lower. So, that is what I think about it.

I do house chores but I don't get an allowance. Doing chores is part of keeping the house clean and nice for everyone living here. As my parents see it, chores as a member of the family are an obligation and not 'extra' work that you should expect pay for.

I wish my sisters had more chores than me, since they are the extremely messy ones...

I am the only one who cleans the bathroom even though I share it with all of them. They're all capable of pitching in but they don't, and it's annoying :/

I have the typical chores, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, taking out the garbage, washing/drying/folding laundry etc, not for profit but to live in a clean environment. Nobody likes to live in filth! (So I hope.) I live alone so it's never too messy.

I have to do a bunch of chores, and I get 25 cents for every one that I do no matter how big a job it is, so I might have to clean 2 rooms in my house, put away all the dishes in the dishwasher, and weed the garden, and I would only get $1 for those four things.
