(woot first post!)

I'm usually a quiet game-playing lurker, but what brought me to the forum section this time is the fact that there's no threads yet about this game, whether for help or general discussion.
I'm sure I'm not the only Kick Master fan out here!

Despite a strange martial-arts sounding name, the game is a scrolling action-adventure set in medieval/fantasy setting, and in my opinion boasts one of the more memorable and epic NES game soundtracks. Those tunes have haunted me for something like 20 years ever since I played it in childhood.
Used to be so obsessed with this game when I was little that I wrote out my own gamebook for it with descriptions and drawings, made a little keychain of it, some posters, and wrote a script for it pretending it were a movie. It wasn't a famous enough game to have a line of merch, so I made my own merch :3

I'd credit this game for getting me heavily interested in the middle ages and fantasy genre of literature. Shame it hadn't become more widely known.

So, does anyone else feel a strong nostalgic attachment to this title?

And let me know if you need help with it, I still have that old notebook with all the hints and special moves and passwords I've discovered, even after all these years
