I don't know a lot of specific artists off the top of my head, but one of my favorites is Starfield. The reason why is because I went to one of their concerts a few months ago and I just fell in love with the music.

Skillet is the only Christian band I know and they are Christian rock. Falling Inside the Black was played as part of a compilation video for my black belt test and I do love that song. I found a rather fitting video that has the song:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1e3Tl3Zkte8

It is a Final Fantasy movie with that song and it was made fairly well.

My favorites are Casting Crowns, Reliant K, Skillet, and Steve Green. But my favorite has to be Chris Rice.

Davideo7 : Nope, they're actually pretty big, and have even toured with The David Crowder Band, Casting Crowns, and MercyMe. If you're familiar with the songs "Love is Here", "By Your Side", "Hold My Heart", "The Healing Begins", or "You Are More", those are all TNA. They are still relatively new, only becoming big a few years ago, so depending on how often you listen to Christian stations and what those stations play you could be missing them.

Mine have to be..........

Relient K, Hillsong, and Skillet.

And Finally found MORE Christian friends

because the "friends" that I have in my school in Australia say that there Christians and yet they smoke and swear God's name in vain and it's extremely annoying. I'm so glad. Well have a nice day, and keep praying to Jesus.

N64freako : Most Christians I consider to be fake Christians. They claim to be Christians and yet they do ungodly things and give Christians a bad image. I've heard that the Christian population in Australia is pretty bad, is that true?

Btw, you familiar with Ken Ham? He's ahead of Answers in Genesis, he's from Australia and I probably respect him more than any other well known Christian.

Davideo7 :   No sorry I'm not familiar with Ken Ham. And yes it is true that there are not many Christians in my country. The street that I live in there are actually lots of Muslims and yeah but I don't really mind. My teacher said I should convert them to Christians.

BTW although I was born in Australia I am not white. My parents come from Hong Kong!! So yeah I'm Chinese although I can't speak it!

N64freako : So the odds are really against you lol, I definitely applaud you for being Christian. It's rare to see a real christian from Australia and even more rare to see a Chinese Christian. I don't mean any offense by any of that, I'm just very proud that you've stuck with your faith.

Davideo7 : Just to tell you it's not just me that is a Christian, it's my whole family including cousin's and aunties (on my dad's side of family)

I tried to tell my mum's sister to become a Christian and straight away she was like, "No darling!" so yeah I have tried to convert a person to Christian but I failed.

N64freako : You might not be equipped yet to start converting people. You need to be equipped and ready to answer tough questions that people have. That's what I love about Answers in Genesis, the knowledge they give you equips you to not only set the foundation to a person's faith but they offer answers to tough questions and they also have a lot of eye opening arguments. You can find their website here: http://www.answersingenesis.org/

Another website / program that I like alot which does similar things is Way of the Master, which was founded by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron (the actor from growing pains and various movies). Their website can be found here: http://www.wayofthemaster.com/

Like i'm sure many people have already said my favourite Christian Music Artist is Skillet. I enjoy listening to their music and actually take their lyrics on board as well. I am not a Christian i will say that,  I've committed way too many sins to be worthy of the title. But i still respect what Christians do and how some of them actually help the local community.  As a person who works for charity its usually Christian organisations that donate the most to the needy.

sonicmcmuffin : Off subject here - I find how you said you've committed too many sins for the title; it's not about how good you are, it's about how much faith you have.

sonicmcmuffin : Exactly what tRIUNE said. I have to admit, even I question myself at times despite all I have done. No actions, regardless what we think of them, grant us salvation. Instead our actions are an outward expression of our faith. But what really matters is that we understand that we have sinned and need the salvation that could only be given when Jesus died on the cross.

Back onto the topic of this thread. Some other Christian artists I have been listening to, that probably have not been listed in here, are All Star United and Family Force 5. If you want my suggestions on their songs, my favorites of theirs include The Blame as well as Once Again, With feeling from All Star United, and Peachy, and Face Down from FF5.
