Suckerpunch Review
This is my first review so it may be a little short or not that great so bear with me
This movie came out in theaters yesterday(3-25-11) and a few friends and I decided to go see it since we were all back from spring break.
Ill start out by saying I did not like it very much and that as you most likely will see is going to be reflected in my review.

The movie is about a girl who goes through a traumatic experience and ends up in a mental hospital. Now the movie get a little more crazy/confusing, basically the girls in the hospital are supposedly taught to dance for customers at a brothel and each time the main character dances she slips into an alternate reality where she finds out what she has to do to escape.
What I thought of the movie
I found the movie to be boring, mostly because it was so confusing and strange. When I first heard of this movie along time ago I immediately thought of the gaming company Suckerpunch(sly cooper/infamous), but really the only thing that I thought was similar were the parts of the movie that seemed similar to a video game, which were the parts when she was in her alternate reality. But even these parts seemed a little over the top with her fighting giant samurai or undead-like soldiers. Since the story was so terrible and hard to follow it really hurt what could of been a decent movie. Without giving too much of it away, think about a girl dancing to enter an alternate reality where she fights huge warriors/samurai

I would give this movie: 4/10
I do not recommend this movie and suggest you atleast wait until it is out on dvd
