Belial, I'm not trying to put a label or anything of course. But even i have noticed such things. All but 1 of the girls i have been in realationships with messed with me good, and didn't reallly know what they wanted. Hell, even that one did in the begining.

What a girl wants, unforutnately varies on the girl. There are a few things that remain constant, but generally it's a toss up. Generally most want security, stability, attraction, someoen who keeps their interest, someone who makes them feel good (im talkin emotionally as well as physically for those who got their heads in their pants), someone they can feel they can be themself with who has enough in common with them that they can be around for mroe than a few minutes and not get annoyed by the other's presence.. There's much more but I'm tired.. ;p

I know you said you wanted a female opinion on this, Glenn, but maybe mine will do, since I've talked to some girls about this one myself.

It's kind of a trade-off, really... On the one hand, we guys have to face rejection and enormous pressure in dealing with asking a girl out or starting a relationship, or popping the question. Which makes it seem like the girls just have to sit around and look pretty until the right one comes along. Seems easy on that side.

But the flipside to that coin is that the girls freak out when the right one DOES come along and doesn't notice them. Probably the top concern you'll catch from single women (especially high-school girls) is that they're worried about being noticed among the flood of hotties out there. Why else is every last bit of women's fashion geared towards being eye-catching? The pressure girls deal with is worrying about whether the right one will notice her when he finally comes along...and they can't easily break from tradition for fear of looking desperate if they try to be the initiator in a relationship. (Some do pull this off successfully, but it's pretty tough.)

So to them, a few girls tend to think WE have it easy because we basically get to "choose" who to go out with, or so it looks like. Sure, we can walk right up and ask out any girl we want, but as you and I both know, we really don't have much more in the way of "choices" than the girls do.

Oh yeah, and to top it all off, an even bigger thing to worry about when they DO get asked out by a guy is whether they can trust him, is he just putting on a nice front just so he can score, or worse yet, is he going to try to rape her? (More of a concern than you'd think, when you find your physical strength a little bit lacking!)

Well, I will agree that it is true for most girls... not me, except for the trust part there at the end. I'm one of those odd tomboyish girls that never gave a damn about fashion and just wore jeans and a band shirt. I was one to ask guys out on occation though, so yeah. And even though I didn't do the whole "sit and look pretty" thing, I did feel that bit of panic when a guy I liked didn't notice me... and also when he did. So yeah, you have learned well.

And you touch on a major subject there: trust. I need a guy that I know won't hurt me or take advantage of me... I've dealt with that before and it was not pleasant to say the least. The second I get an uneasy feeling about him, I'm backing off and calling for help.

I just noticed that I do try to show off..well dress all pretty and stuff to try and get a guy to notice me. Well I want a particular guy to so sometimes I feel that I have to do something or wear something eye-catching..which I will do when it's warmer..XD but anyways. Its hard waiting for the right guy to come along. As for me being a shy kinda quiet girl until you get to know me..it's hard for me to even get a guy to notice me because I don't have that type of personality to say "HERE LOOK AT ME IM SEXY!" I feel like I show no confidence but I did start to realize that I know Im purdy and stuff but I wouldn't say sexy.

Haha its funny at this one party I was dancing my ass off do get one of my friend's cousins to dance with me and he said he asked me but he never did and he is so irritating. This guy at school is irriatating because..he just is. He hasn't said anything to me but I know he looks at me every now and then..so I dunno about that. I would say that Im panicing because he isn't noticing me..he will one day, Im so sure he better..he somewhat has but not as much as I want him to.

The type of guy I would want is he has to be somewhat attractive but Im kinda confused on this..because this one guy wants to get at me..and he's kinda chubby but he has this hella great personality well..from what I've saw of how he acts..but chubby guys aren't my style so that's my dilemma as of right now. His cologne is coolio though too..guys with cologne just..I dunno mi likes . As for me..Im a kinda girl that grew up in umm..well we'll just say in urban society meaning here there's hip hop/thuggish type guys and they aren't all that bad but sometimes it does get on my nerves and you do grow tired of how those guys act because some of them aren't respectful at all but some are a whole different person and opposite of the disrespectful ones. Luna, what would you think about a 6'3 guy who wieghs 235? Fat or not? I guess anyone can answer that question. I have a pretty big build I guess, but I always want to lose weight. The parts of my body that my Gf tells me arn't toned are my stomach and my butt. Just wondering. I go out for track and football and that keeps me in shape.

As for girls I like Pretty nice ones. I don't drink, smoke, or chew. Or date girls that do. Plump ones are allright. they have to be funny and be able to laugh at my jokes!!! I don't like ultra skinny girls. Give me one with at least some flesh on thier bones.

Actually it has been proven that most men don't like the super skinny girls as much as with a little meat on thier bones as you put it.

Well yes But as I say that I realize there are some skinny,tall girls who I think are pretty good looking. They arn't exactly bony, but they are beautiful and nice. If I ever got a slim Girlfriend it would be wierd hugging them after my current one

I know some very slim girls but they have quite a bit of muscle. They are athletes. They are small build and eat quite a bit, they just do so much that they burn all the calories. What I don't like is the girls that try to starve themselves.

Yes I agree with that, the slim girls I like are very athletic, I also seem to have a thing for girls with my name... not my last name though. I also seem to devolope crushes on geeky girls, or girls no one talks to.

Its funny because I end up thinking the guys that don't talk to so much are cute but now..this girl is trying to get at the guy I've been crushing on for a awhile..well most of senior year now but I don't know how to go about talking to him.
