What is the longest time you have ever stayed awake?

I once had something so deep on my mind I literally could not sleep in that I woke up one day at 6:50 am and was still awake by that time the next day, I then had to go to work at 7:30 and by the time the evening came I was stil awake, this continued onto 5:00 am the following day, by which time I was seriously getting tired but still had to go to work again, but this time I was feeling physically sick by the lack of sleep and did not make it to work and went back to bed. The worst part of this was I thought I would sleep for days but woke up at 4:30 that afternoon and never got a wink more sleep until the next evening

when i was younger i stayed up 3 days in a row playing some game i don't remember which one it was but i was very tired after that.i went to sleep finally and ended up sleeping for at least 15 hours.
