Valentines day is a time of high stress and expectations, it is no fun arguing on Valentines day and yet it happens I a sorry for your pain, if you had a row, if this is what happened and things cannot be patched up, then valentines bought things to a head and the unspoken was spoken we definately can do much to support each other.

No, thank God, no. And I would never dump anybody, no matter how much I don't like him, on Valentines day. Because I think it's too cruel to do such a heartless thing.
If I wanted to dump someone around V's day, I would do that a few days before or after the V's day. I know that hurts too, but I think it's less cruel.

If I were to dump someone it would be a week before or after Valentines Day. If anyone has experienced this, I dearly apologize...it's probably better off that way cause that person in an @$$. Excuse my French...

I've survived 2 valentines in a row with the same person so I think that I'm okay, This is my first girlfriend so yeah... but I'm still kind of shocked that I found someone so amazing on my first try.

I got dumped on Valentines day last year... I knew there was something wrong with him for about a week before because he was acting strange, but played it off for the date. I got all cutesied up, drove the half hour to see him, hung out at our usual spot, then went back to his house to cuddle for a while. It was pretty normal for us. Then I left and a little while after I got home he caught me on the computer and said he was still in love with his ex girlfriend (who he had left me for once before already/had been in and out of a relationship with SIX TIMES now...) and that he didn't really have feelings for me. I got off the computer, went to my room, and he called me. I told him it would mean I would never speak or see him again because this was the second time it was happening and I threatened him if it did. He said he knew, and he hung up. I was pretty devastated...

THIS year however, I've been with my boyfriend for almost 9 months now, so this Valentines day we got a hotel and stayed up drinking red wine, eating the Reese's cups he got me, and watching a Lord of the Rings marathon

Yes.. I went to my girlfriend's house to surprise her. She acted like we were not together and it didn't last long. All we did was talked, played card games, and gave each other gifts. Till the day was over, I got a text from her the next day saying that I thought that we were over. I was so confused and told her no I would never do that...she then texted me saying well, yeah we are. I was so upset when she told me that. I asked why and she said that she didn't love me anymore. She also said that the gift she gave me was not really for me, it was for someone else... I was so pissed off and so upset that I never wanted to be with her ever again. She really stole my heart, but she just took it and threw it down on the ground, stepping on it. I felt cheated and lied. The only good thing was that she was nice enough to let me have the gift. It was a $10 gift card for Sonic and I gave her a stuffed dog with rainbow colors. This happened on this year of Valentine's day. I hope I do not get this kind of experience again.
