Hi, i was browsing through my files and i couldn't help but notice the N64 emulator on this site uses : Glide 64 (also known as the #2 N64 emulator) Many games lag and refuse to work, and i have also seen that there is a better N64 emulator known as :"Project 64" More games work and there is almost no lag and the emulator has a menu with advanced options to change the screen and make games that may lag only a little completely fine, AND FULL SCREEN MODE so please please please!!!! Remove glide 64 as your default N64 emulator on this site and upgrade the more popular well know and easier to use and much better and smoother Project 64

P.S. Make sure you get the newest version of project 64 and not the old one or the new beta which costs money.

Suggestions are nice, but was your thread title really appropriate? I agree we could have better emulation as far as the N64 is concerned, but please refrain from that language... even if you did censor it. Thank you.

The N64 games play for me but I can't get my MS sidewinder controller to work. It works for the other emulators.

Full screen mode would be a good plan, do any game devices here go full screen?

I use the word NEED very loosely. As far as need is concerned, it works fine for a lot of users, and while it is not the best, I am willing to settle for the current emulator until we get things we actually do need. However, this is a definite want for me. I wouldn't call this the most urgent need on the board. However, I do understand your stance, I would really like to have this project 64 emulator you speak of. However, for the time being please be patient, only so much can be done at once =)

Seemingly all of the users are having issues with N64 games, so I'm thinking it might not be everyone's video card...

Maybe it isn't th video card, but the games are still playable on my end, so I'm not complaining. Although I wish they did run smoother.

Ah, misconceptions, gotta love them.
Glide64 is NOT an emulator people, it is a GRAPHICS PLUGIN.
A file userd BY the emulator.
The EMULATOR the RGR uses is 1964. That is used for ALL N64 games.

I love how people say they NEED something different then what they have been given (essentially) FOR FREE.
Want a better N64 emulator in the RGR?
Donate money to the site and find us a coder who isnt useless and decompiling and programming and you'll get one, simple as that.

Otherwise download the roms and emus from http://www.get-your-rom.com/ or something
