As far as I'm concerned, the Nes was the Best Game system of all time! I would like to contribute to this by making my own rom. I know how to make nes music with Famitracker, and the Specs are nothing new to me (3 color 8x8 images, limited sprites on screen, about 500kb of memory total.) I want to know if there are any tools that can be used to inport graphics from, like, a bitmap in to a blank rom file, or compile a brand new .NES file. maybe a programing guide, and an application to program in the Nes's relative language. also to get an NSF file into the rom (NSF music file...) and maybe some other pointers. I know this great website, "www.nesreproductions.com" where this guy will take a rom file, wether it be hacked, prototype, or original, and make it into an actual NES cart to play, provided you pay $20 and a donor cart (a disposable nes cart that he will put you'r new game on) and would be Awsome to have something I made into a physical cart... but I gotta make it first...
Any Ideas?
