I do have a stuttering problem. I've had it for as long as I can remember. I remember having the problem when I was 7, but I don't know if it started earlier than that. It was way worse when I was a kid. Since then it's gotten a lot better, but one can still easily tell it's with me. It usually happens when I have to try to explain things a lot, or reading long paragraphs out loud.

With me, it is similar to physics in the way "momentum" works. And object is always hardest to push when it is at rest in a given direction. It is easier to push when it is moving because less and less energy has to be applied since it is already moving.
Like that, it's often difficult for me to "start" speaking. But AS I'm speaking it's a hell of a lot easier because words are already flowing out of my mouth. When a sentence ends the process starts again. That's why I've always hated reading out loud to a group of people or giving a class for Army training (I literally cringe when I'm randomly picked to read long Power Point slides. Especially the one just a few days ago that was excessively long). It's embarrassing when I can't say a word, no matter how simple it is, because my brain doesn't coordinate with my vocal cords and mouth very well. It makes talking to people on a daily basis seem like a job.

I know speech problems aren't the worse thing in the world, but there isn't much that's worse that can happen than not being able talk properly. It sucks. It really does. For those who talk normal don't take it for granted. For someone who likes to meet new people or go on dates it's not fun at all having a bad stuttering problem. When you are unable or afraid to tell impressive, cool or funny stories to get someone to laugh or be impressed, pardon my words, it's almost f***ing depressing.

I wouldn't really consider it a "problem", more kind of like slipping every once in a while.

My cousin has a stuttering problem. He's had it for a long time. He's almost 18 and I believe he's almost gotten over it.

Sometime, not sure why, but randomly I will. Sometimes I'll even say stuff like rearrange letters in a sentence
Example: "I'm gonna phock on the tone"
and yes I actually said that once .

Cyro Xero : I didn't realize it could be such a setback. I'm sorry to hear you struggle with it. You might find it embarrassing but I know I don't care. I'd still listen to what you have to say

I've never had a stuttering problem. I guess I do take my normal speaking for granted.

It doesn't happen to me all the time. Maybe once every 5-6 times I say a lot. Most of the time people I meet for the first time would never guess I stutter at all. I don't feel sorry for myself or anything, it's just that it gets very annoying.
