I've actually used a few other the years but if I were to use one nowadays I would probably use something like HybridBrickz, NiteBrickz or WolfBrickz. Each of these names kind of combine one of my close friends usernames on gaming social networking sites and part of my current name, kind of like a way to honor them and to show their importance to me.

I use my user name iceape8 for most of my online accounts, but I use ProbeScout from time to time as well.
If I had to pick a user name I've never used before I would pick SweatyToaster. No reason for it really, I just like toasters and toast.

I chose my username based on my favorite Soulcaliber character. If I had to change, I would make it Schwarzwald, pwnshop135 (my xbox gamertag) or Justinsane.

Alternate Names?
I have a few rules for myself when choosing names for myself or others in my journals or "public file reports" (Translation: Internet correspondence of any sort.) I have a habit of picking an Instrument or brand name of instrument for the last name like "Fender", "Gibson", or "Ibanez". (Guitars for myself and other people that have the personality that sounds like a guitar.) Or sometimes they talk and act like a technition. So, I'll favour last names like "Craftsman", "Stanley", Or "Dewalt". ( Profession or a Skill that stands out will always be associated with the last name of anyone I refer to in my documents.) Cool?
The Middle Name (If Any.) Will be something personal because I tend to know these people personally. (For myself I pick nicknames that others have called me when growing up. For others I tend to use animals or candy if there is no nickname that we have ever used.)
The First Name is always changing. I like names that are rooted in myth or classic study. Normally it has something to do with the site and the amount of common respect I wish to earn when conversing with the people. The sillier the name the bigger the sense of humor I like to have. The more blunt and common the name the lack of humor I will have. Same goes for people's alternate names when I reference them in any typed experience. (On-line or Off.)

Other than That I sometimes employ rules with numbers.
Similar to superstition rules. Like If I where to make a reference to being captured with a numerical clue I'd employ a famous number like "The Count of Monte Cristo's" prisoner numbers. (Chapter...? I forget. Five or six Maybe.)
"86" translates into taken care of or Neutralized or forget and listen up or abandon.
I like to play around with different Professions jargon from time to time and mix it up with phrases and words we were taught in school growing up to graduate with.
It sounds more complicated than it is. I have yet to fail at communicating properly after having 3 Coffees.

My alternate username is actually leonmex1. Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, birthplace. So it be short for leon, mexico, leonmex1, the first, last and original guy with a spunky alternate username

My alternate user name is SugarLumpy, and I would've used it if I'd thought of it earlier.

Ready for this? My alternate username would be zirram. I got it from my dad, and it stuck. I guess I chose this one because I want to be anonymous, and those who know my family know this alias. So, I chose mrfe. I don't regret that decision at all.

I Have an alternative username, (used for other sites), aka Wolfen-Ray, I use it for any MMORPGs
