No, I wasn't engaged again. He developed feelings for another girl, and he kissed her. Even though she is engaged to someone else, and staying with them. The whole f***ing thing happened because he felt that he was with me for the wrong reasons and that I was using him to fill the void left by Garrett. It wasn't true though, and he knows that now.

I've never seen someone hate themselves so much for a mistake that they've made as I've seen him hate himself for this. I forgave him in an instant, which for me is something amazing... but he never wants to risk hurting me again, so he called it quits. Honestly, the things he says about himself hurt more than what he did.

Garrett apologized for not being there as a friend after he left, he's seen how much it means to me now that he's seen me and Jayarre interact. Little has changed between the two of us really... just that most of the time now we are very sad when we look at each other, when we almost kiss, or when one of us does something that the other loves so much. In a lot of ways, this breakup hurts more than the last one.

It almost does sound like you and I are more or less cursed Elara. I'm sure it will work out for us some way though.

Well now I get a cheap chance to get 24 girls to kiss me on the cheek. I'm pledging for a service club, and one of the things they have you do is take a disposable camera and fill it with pictures of girls giving you a kiss.

Edit: 7 down, including the girl I like. And another 3 that said they will tomorrow. And another 2 that might.

I really am not sure if I even have a shot. I need to get some time to talk to her friend. But it really looks like I won't even be making an attempt.

Now I have 10 or 11 girls down. 2 that say they will tomorrow. Doubt I'll get many after that though.

But yeah, I'm convinced that I'm cursed or something. Though I am also thinking that there has to be more to it than what he says. The girl is not leaving her fiancee, he's getting nowhere and only hurting himself more... he doesn't seem the kind to punish himself that much like this, and he's not that stupid, so meh.

I mean... well, be honest about this if it were you:

You're dating a girl. You say she is perfect, you love her deeply. In comes other girl, very much like the girl you have... you fall for her too. You kiss her, and feel so guilty that you leave the girl you're with. Girl you were dating forgives you instantly and thinks it's worth saving. You "don't want to hurt her again" so you won't go back. Instead, you chase after girl you kissed even though she is taken, 5 years younger, and not in love with you. You are miserable. Girl you were dating worries about you. You still love her, she still loves you... yet you keep trying to steal the younger one from her fiancee when you know it's hopeless.

Does that make any sense at all?

Part of that does. The leaving the girl because I didn't want to hurt her again. If I had done that I might of wanted some time alone to get past it and figure it all out. As for the chasing part, no. That part doesn't really make sense. I don't know what it could mean though.

Yeah that was a fun picture, but they are all just in fun. I mean most girls know that it's for pledging and don't mind doing it.

As for what I'm going to do about the girl at this point I'm not sure. I'm still just observing and when I get a chance I'll talk to her friend and see what she says. That will probably determine my course of action.

Edit: I may post a few of the "kiss" cam pics on here, because you couldn't really make fun of me because I would be getting a kiss from a cute girl in them. I just may.

Well I talked to her friend last night, and I've decided to not pursue the relationship. She didn't seem to think that the girl I like wanted anything more than friendship, so for now I'll have to back off the idea. I'm not taking it too badly, because she and I are still really close friends and God only knows what will happen in the future. It could end up working out later.

I got the all the pictures doen finally. I will probably get a few more tomorrow. But I'm looking at pictures of me with 26 different girls right now. Maybe 30 after tomorrow.

It works because it's pledging. I doubt they would do it just because I asked. But it's kinda strange, it's just not how I usually am.

One girl says she'll owe me if I help her study for Chem, so maybe I can get her to find me a date or something (probably won't even try that though.) I guess I'll just pick out some girls and when I get a chance ask them.
