My favorite video game would have to be Pokemon. I have played it throughout my single digit years and am still playing it now. The stories are always fun to laugh at, or make fun of and most of the pokemon look so cool.

Bioshock would be my favorite of all time. The game is just amazing. The story was something I had never heard of before, and that really made the game fun. You just want to keep playing, to find out what happens. I enjoyed the weapons, some very new and creative. If you have never played this game, you really should.

For the longest time it was a toss up between  Mario Kart Double Dash and Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 but now I would say Super Mario 64 and Sonic Heroes are in there also so I have no clue which is my favorite.

My favourite game is probably Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

I picked this game up when I was 12 after I got bored of Vice City. San Andreas, a game so expansive and with so much to do and so much to experience, blew my still young mind. Even today it holds up against the HD GTA titles easily.

I still play it sometimes and it never fails to impress me.

My favorite video game is probably a tie between The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Castlevania, the original.

The reason that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of my two absolute favorite games is due to several qualities I look for in a video game. It is very story driven, and immersing, as well as a great sequel to the TLZ franchise. It was the evolutionary step in the franchise from the two dimensional TLZ into an entirely new world of TLZ that really grasps your attention. Now, Link to the past would come to a close second, due to how awesome it was, yet, Ocarina of Time was more interesting due to the differ in graphics, and how difficult the combat was. I, myself, have played through both games at least 5 times, and find the replay ability for Ocarina of Time to be near endless.

Now, onto Castlevania. Castlevania is probably my favorite game from my entire childhood. It was the great legend of games that had both difficulty and entertainment value of a hefty proportion. I found myself playing it over and over again, from how much I enjoyed the plundering of Dracula's Castle, making it through all of the dangerous and nasty levels, then making it to the boss, and getting my butt whipped until I figured out how to beat them. It was an aspect that I think a lot of games, nowadays, lack. They tell you how to defeat all your enemies, tell you their weaknesses and vulnerabilities. In Castlevania, you had to learn what worked the best, and what wasn't the best thing to use through trial and error. I remember playing it and getting my butt destroyed by death for almost an hour and a half. That was humiliating, but, it inspired me to keep trying, and eventually, after two more hours, I figured out the best method at the time to beat him.

Gah, this is such a hard choice as of now, there are so many games that I am in love with.

Mario Tennisower Tour is one that I've loved for over a year and still play, so it is one of my top games right now.

Grid is also a really great game that I actually got pretty recently but have been playing a lot of.

Assassins Creed 2 is another game I've played a lot of and really am liking.

The fact that all of these games are different genres makes it a choice that's too hard to make...

There are so many to choose from, it's hard to pick just one. But if I had to pick a single game, it would be "The Last of Us." The stealth based game play is phenomenal, the characters speak to my heart on a deep level, and the story is literally epic. It's the only game that ever made me tear up just from watching an intro scene. And Joel is probably my favorite video game character of all time. And who can forget that ending...

My favorite game is Pokemon Platinum. After thinking about it for a while, I finally came to that decision. Maybe Pokemon Moon will change my mind, though?

Xenoblade Chronicles.

It's probably as much the circumstance of when I played it along with the game itself - I was at the right age and time to get absorbed into its fantastical world. All of its locations are massive yet very traversable. Its features are fine-tuned for great convenience - save anywhere, anytime, change the time to whatever hour whenever you want, and good skip travel. You don't have to go back to an NPC to complete a typical quest, and the game rewards and incentivizes exploration.
The game encourages you to scour the farthest corners of the world by making death rather unpunishing, just kicking you back to the last major location. It also gives exp, skill points, and arts points for finding new locations. The drive to explore is further boosted by the sheer beauty and finesse of its locations.
The story is also very well done, and makes you care about the characters. Plus, the soundtrack is top-notch - Yoko Shimomura and ACE+ worked with a myriad of other musicians to make it.

I'd say for me my favorite game of all time has to be Tekken.

Tekken for me is just innviolated figthing at it's best mixed with some skill.  The combat chain system really allows for anyone to be into it,  I typically spend a lot of time in tekken with the Mishima's trying to get better with the EWGF and wave dash type combo's.

The fact that each character has a story and they have a learning curve makes tekken addictive and a really fantastic fighting game.

I'm not sure if I posted in this thread before, but just in case I haven't yet...I think my favorite game of all time has to be Tecmo Super Bowl for the NES.

I mean this game is just excellent in every single way. I'm talking about the original plain "Tecmo Bowl." Even though that game was pretty good, this one is just WAY better. It incorporated actual fumbles, injuries, and it had ALL the NFL teams from the early 90s...not just some of them. I've been playing this game for pretty much my whole life and the fact that they started to make up rosters from current NFL teams just makes it even sweeter. My favorite part about it is that it tracks the stats of your players when you're playing season mode. I just think that its all really well done.

Please give this game a try if you haven't already done so!

Id have to say my favorite video game is a tie between street fighter alpha 2 and final fantasy 4. I love Street fighter alpha 2 because of how energetic it is. I like final fantasy 4 because it is just so much fun for me to play even though there is not much of a story to it.

I had to think about this for a while, but I think I'm going to say Silent Hill 2. At the end of the day, it makes sense. It's the first and possibly only game I've ever played and beaten multiple times. I may have gotten close with other games, but then I just get distracted with another game. I can comfortably say that I've beaten Silent Hill 2 so many times that I've seen every ending at least twice. And I still come back for more just because the story is so phenomenal and heart-wrenching.

The story gives you just enough information to make sense and leaves everything else to clarify the plot up to ambiance and scenery. Every time I play the game the story makes more sense and I discover something new I had never noticed before.

Not only that, but I think it was the first video game to actually make me emotional. I would say cry, but it didn't go that far. But I did get weepy-eyed in the last level a few times. No matter how many times I played it.

So, yeah. Silent Hill 2.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
