do you think nintendo shoud stop making more pokemon or continue making pokemon that that have horable looks

Wow, so far I'll be the first one to reply to this thread, but I am because I am kind and will earn us both 10 Viz as well. I think that there are enough pokemon anly because it is nearly inpossible to catch tham all now! It would suck if they added more because some trainers (like me) try to fill up our pokedex as much as possible. If they add more pokemon, it'll just take us even longer. And I think 493 is enough, especially since many can only be obtained by events.

I think that after generation 5, that should be the cutoff point. A solid 5 generations and 650 Pokemon should be absolutely enough, and an end-all for the series. If there's any more after this then I will definitely stop playing.

they need to just stop allready..the pokemon are looking worse with everygame

Personally I think they had too many with the original 151... If they keep making more then I might just have to stop buying games.

They should have stopped introducing Pokemon after Gold and Silver. Maybe it's just me and I'm crazy, but the only Pokemon I really liked were the ones from the first two generations. Most of them were based on real animals, many were geared to a specific audience, and they were really very creative. When Ruby and Sapphire came out... I don't know, it felt like they were running out of ideas. I mean, Luvdisc is just a heart. I had ideas like that when I was five.

It just gets impractical. In Gold and Silver their excuse for why Pokemon 152+ weren't in the first games was because they hadn't been discovered yet. Now we're up to almost 700 of the things! Surely if humanity has documented millions of species that you have to look into a microscope to see we'd have found all of the ones with such great elemental powers you can see their sneezes from space! How did 550 of these buggers slip by us unnoticed? Some of them are the size of continents! Take one good look at Groudon and tell me it makes sense we found out Cubone wears its mother's skull before we found out Groudon even exists!

Game Freak, I am BEGGING you - STOP trying to advance the series by expanding the game world and start advancing the series by making NEW GAMES! The franchise doesn't need new characters, it needs games that aren't just graphical addons to the Red and Blue games! The Nintendo DS has capabilities rivaling the Game Cube. USE IT!!!

when i got pokemon pearl and seen the newpokemon i yelled WHAT DID THEY DO?!?!? they look sooo stupid i liked the legendary pokemon shaymin, darkri, arceus, manaphy, garetina, palkia, and dialga. i hated hertran and regigigas. i swear if they have that many legendaries in black and white i might screem. sapphire was ok at least they didnt have stupid eveoled forms of good pokemon (exp. magmar! that one ticked me off!) but they did have strange pokemon to. insteand of making more pokemon they should make new games with the ones they already have and make it more storie based. ya they cuold add a 7 or 8 new pokemon a game. that would be reasonable. and while im talking about what pokemon should fix i think they should make a new region OUTSIDE of japan i mean really. japan is the only place in the world pokemon can inhabbite? so yes there are way moore than enuff pokeemon.

Hmmm You've brought up a good point here but who dosn't like playing pokemon once in a while still, Generation 5 is upcoming with pokemon black and white.

Although I like mostly the 1st generation, I think that there is no reason to stop creating more and more pokemons. I like how the producers use the characteristics of real animals or mythical creatures, in order to create new pokemons

noelia : I agree with you. More Pokemon do make it more difficult to catch em' all, but hey, who doesn't just LOVE Mudkip! And if they stopped at generation 2, he wouldn't exist! But I do like the originals better then...Gorebyss and Huntail who make no sense...

I won't decide if there are enough pokemon until I see all the ones from the new Black and White games. For example I like the pokemon Pokabu a lot, and if most of the pokemon in black and white are like that then I won't have a problem, but if all the new pokemon are stupid, like Gear, then there are definitiley enough, and they don't need anymore.

im interested in what they come up with in the 5th and probably 6th gen. i dont care if its terrible looking pokemon i just want to see new pokemon. plus its rumored we will have over 600 pokemon. i never have been a person to fill out my pokedex so i dont care how many there are but i still want to see more

After Black and White versions they should just stop. They'll have a whole lot of Pokemon by then, 650, right?

They can stop after 5th. I was a person who liked trying to fill a pokedex and while more makes it harder, I always had tons of friends who would trade with me. The biggest dex i ever filled out was emerald, still working on d/p. And yes emerald is possible because I went to a lot of the special events to get mew or celebi.
