Same goes for me, the more I get to know an animal, the stronger the connection gets. I kinda have weka connections with most animals and trees, but I have to work on them to make is stronger, usually by talking to the creature/plant. Then there is the little ghost girl in my house who I still need to find out who she is.

Mine seems to be with cats mainly, especially Pockets's white cat Toby, heh heh. At times I've had a mild connection with dogs, but that one has grown rater weak over the years.

Well I have 3 cats and care deeply about them, honestly more than some relatives. I guess in a way ive developed a connection with them. Mainly because most of the time I can tell how they're feeling.

I have a VERY strong connection to wolves/other wolflike dogs.... I have my room littered with wolf pictures and plaques etc ( i have a 2000 dollar wolf painting of 4 wolves in the early morning in a glade... i love it. Staring at it for a min or 2 and meditating empowers me greatly)

Its good stuff. I love wolves very much, and i often go to preservation societyies and do work for them or just sit for hours and stare at the wolves.
