This post marks 8,282 total posts for me lol. With a little over a week left in the month, I don't see myself reaching my goal of 8,500 posts. At best, I might reach 8,400 or so, but I think I've had too many slow days with under 10 posts to reach it by the end of TDV. I'm fine with that though. I never expected to make over 400 posts in the span of 3 weeks for TDV, so I'm not going to lose sleep if I come up a little short by the end of the month. After a much needed break next month, I'm sure I can still hit 8,500 posts by March or April, we'll see.

This is my 6,272nd post. I missed the chance to post at 6,270 but I wasn't paying attention to my total.

Since it's going to be my last post of the month, I was curious to see the effect of TdV on me. And the result is a whopping 27 posts including this one. Imagine just how slow things are for me lately.

I'd say I'll be back soon to celebrate 6,300, but I sincerely doubt it's going to happen before Summer so I surely will be back, but by no means soon.

This post makes 8,426 total. Not too shabby. In the span of just a few months, I'm nearly halfway through the 8,000s compared to the century I spent in the 7,000s lol. I don't really have any post goals for this unexpected TDV, but if I have a few days with this level of activity 8,500 total posts is basically guaranteed. Other than that, I'm fine with slowly inching towards 9k and eventually 10k total posts. Like tgags said, slow and steady, lol.

I knew I'd eventually reach it since I've been posting a bit for TdV and I was close, but in the end it came unnoticed and almost missed the milestone.

I'm closing in to climbing one or two spots in the all-time list during the present year. Looking forward to it, some big names and long lost friends are among those I could overtake so it will have a very special meaning for me after all these years.

I guess the next big milestone is 9k posts and eventually 10k at some point. Maybe I'll reach 9k this year and then again, maybe I won't, lol. It's certainly possible if I stay at least somewhat active. As for 10k? I have no idea if or when I'll ever get there. We'll see, I guess!
