My Gaming Thoughts Right Now:This is a post with some random bullet points where I speak my mind on stuff I've been thinking about, might be relevant to now, might be some random thoughts I've had about stuff, read on to find out!!!- Wheres all the crappy movie tie-in games! This is as literal as the name, except not at the same time, as it also includes TV shows, Comics, even the random Journy video game every now and then! I mean we all remember that crappy Green Lantern game from the seventh generation, right? I mean it was literally a bad game but at the same time its literally in the era of gaming that is probably never going to come back. As a lot those games was just plan out bad and lost the companys a lot of money. And maybe to an estreme even made them go bankrupt! I mean Fireforge Games literally went banrkurupt over the 2016 Ghostbusters game! So really that's the gritty truth about it all really. But if the boys over at Treyarch didn't take a chance on Spider Man 2 back in the day........ would we still have one of the best Zombies ever in World at War? Probably as that's a different story, but with all that extra money they probably didn't have still sitting over from Spider Man 2 sales sure helped out right! One I always loved to play no matter how not good the game was, was Die Hard Vendetta, it wasn't really a retelling of any of the Die Hard movies or anything but I found it a good clunky fun mess for me. And only these kinds of games could ever scratch that itch, I'm not asking for something super bad like Minoirty Report, but something simple and fun like the Deadpool game. Or if they arent going to make something along those lines then you remember all those fun spin off/ tie-in Flash games? Man that was where it was at! While those was taken away with our poor Flash! But there was so many good random ones, you guys ever played the Breaking Bad ones? Or the fun Nickolodeon show ones? Peak flash garbage! And there was something kinda cool when they would add on to something from the story or maybe put something in the game that couldn't make it into the film. Also I get a lot of these movies or shows don't have enough to really put into a video game and I'm not asking for a Holy Water Power Wash simulator version of The Exorcist but there are loads of games that could make some fun short game. I mean we need a new James Bond video game or a fun Transformer game again! Did you also know there is a Reservoir Dogs game for the PS2? I heard it's nice and short and is pretty faithful to the movie, that's how it should be!
- Give us back our manuals of instruction! I feel this is one that everyone can get behind. They say that they got rid of them to stop making waste but still released Gollem, oh wait that's a bad tie-in game! OH NO! But for real I used to get to hyped about a game on a car ride home just reading the little booklet in the game case. Just thinking about what something will be like or play like in game. Reading about different characters and their abilities and backstories. And then to play the game afterwards really was the icing on this ever so fattening cake! I will always remember picking up Fallout 3 and reading its super thick but super awesome 'survival guide' and thinking about what stats my character would use while my parents took forever in the store. Then I got home and found out stuff works a bit different then I thought! Guess I didn't read it all that well huh! And how about that cute little Notes section at the end of every one of those booklets that I never used or knew anyone that used it. EXCEPT one time when I had brought a used Gamecube game that had loads of cheat codes in the Notes section. It gave a lot of charm to that game. I swear it was 007: Nightfire to really bring home those tie-in games huh! A lot used to have a sections at the end of booklets called Hints, which usually wasn't to usefully as they was pretty easy to figure out in game usually, or just mundane stuff. But I still liked reading them and once again got me hyped to play the game. Some would be in color, others would be black-and-white. And loads would have advertisements for other games that are Coming Soon in Summer 2003! And I just cant wait! I literally probably would of never known for my entire life that Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was a thing if it wasn't for some random instruction manual years ago, yep no Youtube or Internet to learn about that game and the Moon right! Sometimes you might find one for a game that never came out! That's a moment in time right there that we wont get back! But as time went on, they started to make them smaller and smaller in page length, putting less information in there. And just got to the point where they was like 3 pages all about how if you have a heart attack or something its on you and not them for you playing Barbie Horse Adventures for 18 hours straight. And now really they just put them on the inside of the sleeve to save even more whatever they are saving. So if you do get one of those 3 pages 'instruction manuals' then it's really just a stab in an ever open wound!
So comment below what your opinion was on whatever I was going about gaming clothing and hair! Or my thoughts of new Multiplayer stuff, or lack there of in recent time. I'd love to hear whatever you'd have to say! My Gaming Thoughts Right Now:
