Here's how this works

Respond to this thread with up to 2 users you think would do a great job. The more users you choose, the less weight your votes have. So if you feel really strongly about someone, then vote for just 1 user.

Here's what determines the weight of your vote

The weight of a vote depends on the user and how many votes that user makes. Users who have a high rank, been around for a long time, and have a high post count, will have a vote with more weight. This is fair because those users should have a bigger impact on the results since they're more familiar with the community and have a higher reputation compared to someone who just registered with the single purpose of altering the results.

Here's the formula for figuring out the weight of your vote:
User Level * Power Level

And if you have multiple votes, it'd look like this:
(User Level * Power Level) / Vote Count

The User Levels can be viewed from their profile and also next to their posts to the left. A User Level is based on how long a user has been here and how many posts they have.

Here's the numbers that represent each Power Level:
0 = Newbie
1 = Normal
2 = Trusted
3 = Elite
4 = Site Staff
5 = Local Mod
6 = Global Mod

-Can't vote for more than 2 people
-Posts with negative ratings will be investigated and potentially ignored

Well, I wasn't really expecting to have a vote this time till today but for the first time in forever, there are 3 people running! That said I'd be perfectly happy serving as a global for 6 months so I figured I'd vote this go around.

I vote for Deggle definitely.

It is a hard choice to choose between the two current admins and deggle seemed like a right choice. Nothing against SonicOlmstead, or Alyssa but I feel like this is deggle’s year.

I’m not voting for a second admin at this time because these two actually are doing a good job keeping this site in line and it’ll be disheartening to choose one over the other. The other admin who wins, he/she deserves the win with deggle.

Interested to see what qualities deggle would bring as an admin, I've known him for long enough that I would like to give him a chance

Unfortunately that means one of Sonic or Allysa isn't getting my vote right now even though they have both performed well as admins. I think I'll give Sonic a little break from admin duties since he's been on the team the longest.
