I've started preparing for the Minecraft Tournament that I'll be hosting at the end of this month. It'll be another Super Mario Bros type speedrun like I hosted here. As some of you know, I created my own texture pack for it. I'm also going to use a shader this time for when I film it so that the presentation is even better.

I've been playing around with different shaders and below are examples of how the levels look with a few different shaders.

Let me know if you need me to come on to do any portal set ups like I did last time around if at all possible before the day of the comp so I don't have to rush to make it in time, tho if it comes to that I'm sure I'll handle it once again. Also I'm really hyped to compete in this once again had a blast last time hopefully I finish in a higher spot this time around I think I'll have to start training by playing Mario 1 so I remember the level design better.

SonicOlmstead : I'll probably start preparing for it next week. I plan to have the competition do all 8 worlds, 64 levels. It'll be twice as long as last time but I think having a "reset" on it is for the best considering how long ago we did worlds 1-4. I also plan to make the presentation even better.

So many ideas for it, so excited. In a sense, you can say I've spent a good amount of time preparing for it since the last competition ended. I made a script which will make it easier for me to convert the levels into that MC world. The server functions way better now. I'll be using shaders for the presentation. I've got a lot of ideas on how to make the stream and YouTube video just overall better and more enjoyable. Can't wait.

Like I said, I want to do a competition every month this entire year and I'll be giving out actual trophies that I 3D print to the winners (and maybe also for 2nd place since I not only have Gold filament but Silver as well).
