it is just a problem with the plugin it is still in beta after all. just press the button you have assigned to A and that should get you past those screens.

Once you're past that screen, the in game save won't work so you're going to need to hold shift & press one of the F buttons from F1 - F10 to save. To load the game, just press the F button you used to save.
