Yes, this is my first review of a Nintendo Switch game, if someone was thinking that my first review of a Nintendo Switch game was going to be something like a review of Deemo, or Kirby Star Allies, or Senran Kagura Reflexions (?), well, too bad, I don't have any of the games I just mentioned (yet). I won't write a long introduction for now, but let's just say that I can actually praise Acttil for this, after the questionable translation of Blue Reflection, not to mention that, supposedly, Ray Gigant was also translated by Acttil and that translation is also kind of bad, this is a game that can make me praise them, I would say that Acttil should only publish rhythm games with PM Studios and that they should stay away from RPGs like Blue Reflection, after playing that game, I don't know if they can do a good job in translating games...but I don't have a problem if Acttil and PM Studios publish rhythm games like this one. Anyway, this is the review.

Story: This game doesn't have a story, like other rhythm games.

Graphics: It's not an impressive game, but I can't deny that Musynx has a lot of personality, with the varied 2D art and different themes depending on the song, it's a game that looks nice. The existence of a Playstation Vita version might be one of the reasons why the game doesn't look stunning, but still, I kind of like how the game looks, considering how the game looks and feels, and the Youtube videos I've seen of gameplay, I can say for sure that the game runs at 60 frames per second and it never suffers from slowdown, like other rhythm games on consoles of course. Overall, the game looks good, it's very smooth and it has many different static images associated with each song, sure, it's a game that can run on the Playstation Vita and, perhaps with minor tweaks, the game might be able to run on a Nintendo 3DS, but, as I said, the game looks nice, I've seen many video games that look worse than this.

Sound: The game has more songs than other games in the genre, Musynx has more than 77 songs and that's if you only consider the base game. The soundtrack is
very varied, this game really has something for everyone, rock, techno, pop, classical music (especially with the recent update), and even songs where I can't specify the genre...it's a song, and that's it, I don't know if the song goes into a specific genre. Many songs are very enjoyable to listen to, Pink Lemon is an amazing rock song, LALALA Refrain is majestic, Love Wallet is very catchy and it had the honor of being the first song I repeated, Journey is a great song that wasn't sung by a Vocaloid (unlike many songs in the game, but that's not a bad thing)...I can keep going. I don't have a favorite song because I really like many songs of Musynx, but at least I'm sure that the song I like the least is Bunny Robbie (sorry Eurico...), that song isn't enough to make me hate the soundtrack however. With the recent update (version 1.1.1), you can play Can Can, yes, the famous music composed by Jacques Offenbach, what more could you ask for? The song La Primavera the four seasons composed by Antonio Vivaldi is another great example of classical music...Hinako Shirai would be proud. It's an awesome soundtrack, with a little of everything, including 8-bit music.

Addictiveness: I'm a fan of rhythm games and in my opinion Musynx is very fun and addictive, the game doesn't have unlockable content and it only has a few modes of play, but the lack of options or game modes doesn't matter when the game is really fun to play and has amazing songs. The game itself is simple, press the buttons to hit the notes that move towards a line, and if you have good timing you can get great scores (or in this case, ''Sync. rates''), the game is simple, functional, and very addictive, even when you can't unlock more content, it's still really fun to repeat a song to get a higher score or simply because it's fun to play. Yes, the game isn't revolutionary (and in fact it looks a little like a Rock Band or Guitar Hero game), but it doesn't need to be, it's a rhythm game with many songs, functional controls (that can be remapped), and not much else...I don't have a problem with that.

Depth: Playing every song at least once will take some time, and the fact that the game has different difficulty levels is another reason to play them again, the game doesn't offer much in a way, but for what it is, it's a lot, as I said, the base game has more than 77 songs, and the recent update added 11 songs, with that update, Musynx has more than 90 songs.

Difficulty: The game isn't difficult in the sense that you can't lose, Musynx is a rare game where it's completely impossible to lose, yes, you can miss many notes and that translates to a bad Rank, but you can't say ''oh, I lost'', the game won't interrupt the song, it does not matter how badly you play, that said, the game is, at times, more difficult than other games in the genre and in some songs you can miss a lot of notes easily, this means that this game is more recommended for people who are already fans of rhythm games. There are more difficult games than Musynx, sure, but don't expect a game where almost every song is a piece of cake, it's not on the same level as Superbeat: Xonic (that game really has ridiculous patterns and you can actually lose), but if you haven't played a rhythm game before, I recommend a Rock Band game or Persona 4: Dancing All Night.

I definitely recommend this game if you are a rhythm game fan like me, if you have never played a rhythm game before well...play this game if you are brave enough, or get another game in the genre. Musynx is, in my opinion, an awesome game, if you have a Nintendo Switch and are interested in the game, buy it, Musynx isn't expensive, and the fact that there are more updates to come is great. Sure, the game is also for Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita, but Nintendo Switch is the only console that has this game physically, not counting the releases of Limited run games of course.
