2019

Vizzed.co Minecraft Server is Back Online!
It was down for a few years but the Vizzed.co Minecraft Server is finally back online (and working great)!

Vizzed Board Rebuilt (Vizzed Board 2.0?)
The posting system was completely rebuilt from the ground up. Making threads, posting to threads and editing your posts is now a far better experience. Most other Vizzed Board related features were also rebuilt from the ground up including the Announcement page, Memberlist, Active Users and more.

Private Message System Rebuilt
The private message system was completely rebuilt from the ground up. Unlike the old one, the new one has search and filter functionalities. It's more efficiently designed to help make messaaging quicker and easier and was given an adaptable layout so that it's usable and viewable on any device or phone.

2018

Theme Creator
The Theme Creator lets you create your very own Vizzed theme. Once you've created the theme, you can apply the theme to either a page that you have admin powers over, or you can apply it to yourself which then gives many pages of the site that custom look. You can also choose from any of the user created themes.

Vizzed.com URL is now HTTPS
The site has received a lot of improvements in overall speed and efficiency and that's all pretty obvious and well known. What most don't realize though is how much time has also gone into keeping the site safe and secure. Getting an SSL certificate is an example of this.

Netplay Page Recreated
The page that allows you to play retro games online with other vizzed users was completely rebuilt with better functionality and more features.

2017

Video Game Music Radio
This is a 24/7 video game music stream (currently only live on Friday-Sunday) that plays highly rated music and user suggested music from the Vizzed Video Game Music Room. It also has trivia hours where there's a scoreboard and users compete to guess the name of the song in under 60 seconds.

Browser Emulation
Most of the games in the Retro Game Room have been made playable without the RGR Plugin (mostly using HTML5 emulation). Additionally, many of these are also now playable on mobile devices.

Other

Video Game Music Room
10,000s of songs and 1000s of game soundtracks have been added over the past few years. We now have nearly 200,000 songs for over 10,000 different games spanning more than 40 different game systems.

Site Search
The site search has been an ongoing project and has received updates every few months. It's accessible in the left Navigation menu of every page (currently not visible to phone users) and also has its own page. It lets you search almost any part of the site and has some powerful search capabilities.

Many Pages Rebuilt
Many of the pages of the site have been rebuilt from the ground up. Most of them were given more features, an easier to use layout, better browser and device compatibility, mobile friendly, more secure, faster load times, and just an overall better experience.

Wow, being a game tester sounds like something huge!

I never thought about what is needed to become a game tester. But well, I never thought of what's needed to be a voice actor and the result has greatly surprised me, so I'm sure this would be a similar case. Even if you started yesterday, is there anything you can share about your studies so far, like how much time is needed to complete them so people can realize how hard it can actually be?

It would be fun if, in a few years time, I'm one of the voice actors appearing on a videogame you're tasked with testing (or vice-versa, not sure what goes first in the process). Not sure if that could be the case since I'd mostly work in Spanish, but maybe I can also work in English due to my level.
