There's a problem with the plug in ive got all the stuff right it just keeps saying plugin not found it worked before and for some reason its no longer working, I tried reinstalling and repairing but nothing seems to work, can you help me out?

Hey Im trying to play pokemon fire red. Yesterday I successfully played pokemon emerald and I was able to save and play with no problem. I tried to start a fire red today and when I go to save it says save error, clear back up memory. How do I clear back up memory? For some reason every time i tried to play a game that requires a plugin a pop up comes out of no where saying that i failed to load the game. it keeps saying that is might have messed up due to the downloading screwing up (i have downloaded it for times and still not working) or another game is already up (no other game is up). can someone help me with this problem because i would really like to start playing these games.
