Trojan on the NES is a game that people have not heard of. It is quite decent and pretty fun to play. When I played this game, it was more like Robocop on the NES, but was more of a historical time period in mid evil times (that is what I think the game is). It looks fun to play, but it is not as easy as you think it is. I kind of like this game because it kind of challenges you. I think that they should of made another game of this, but better to see if others would like it or not. I guarantee you that it is an interesting game to play.
Graphics - 9
The graphics are pretty good. Everything looks so much like where knights would be in and the characters look cool. The effects are good too.
Sound - 8
The sounding is a bit like Mega Man when you play 1 Player mode. To me, the music sounds like Halloween. I do not know why, but it sure does sound like it to me. The effects are usual like other NES games. When you hit, it just makes a little noise, everything else is pretty much original.
Addictiveness - 7
Like I said, I liked playing this game. It is very interesting and what I like about it is that it challenges you during the game.
Story - N/A
There is absolutely no story in this game. I have no idea what it is about because when you turn on the game, it would just bring you to the menu of what type of game do you want to play. When you pick one, it would just show you where you are and what you are going to. No story or anything to tell you what is the point of the game. Depth - 7
The game has some good features unlike other NES games. In this game, you get to use your shield and the sword with just the two buttons you use. Another thing is that this game can play up to 2 players. There is "2 Player Mode" and "VS Game." Now the 2 player mode is what you expect it to be. 1 player starts and then when that player dies, player 2 begins. It is not like teamwork or anything, it is just there if two people wanted to play the game. The VS Game, to be honest, is kind of boring. Both the players battle in a small area and just try to beat each other and hope to win. There is nothing interesting, but it kind of is fun if you want to play against your friends.
Difficulty - 6
The game is quite hard. Honestly, I could only get to the second level. It is ridiculously hard. What is hard about it is that the game does not allow you to get close to your enemies, you are like an inch away from them and you can just hit them from there. Another thing is the shield. The shield is great, but if you use it too much, you lose it and you are basically screwed, unless you swing your sword everywhere and avoid objects coming at you. The challenging thing I mentioned was the enemies. They will come from the left and the right and some can shoot things at you. If you want to beat the game, you have to be able to be good at not being hit lots off times.

Trojan is a good game. It should have been given another shot by making a Trojan II. I recommend trying this game out if you have not already. It is not as bad as you think it is once you get used to it. :) Graphics

The world is ruled by a vicious warlord named Achiless and his henchmen. You are Ryu, the master of martial arts and sword-fighting, who has decided that a confrontation with Achilles is in order to bring peace and order back to the world. Your character is equipped with both a sword (for offense) and a shield (for defense). You will go through six stages starting at a ruined city, each with two boss characters (in the middle and at the end). Some enemies are so powerful that you will die the instant you fail to block. You also have to race against time as well, which makes the game that much more difficult.
