Bad Dudes is an Action game developed by Data East Corporation in 1990 for the Nintendo NES.
KIDNAPPED! the headlines scream. The nation is paralyzed in shock. Is it possible? The President kidnapped? Without a moment's hesitation you know who's responsible - the Dragon Ninja. As Blade or Striker, a.k.a. the BAD DUDES, you take to the streets to rescue the President. But the Dragon Ninja is ready for you. He sends wave after wave of relentless ninja, vicious dogs, and enemies to stop you. Armed with knives, shurikens and nunchucks, you must fight tooth and nail - in alleys, on waterways, even on moving semi-trucks. In the end... if you're BAD enough... you take on the Dragon Ninja himself. You must defeat him and snatch the President from the helicopter that's about to whisk him away to who-knows-where. It'll take every skill you've ever mastered - and a few new ones - to be BAD!
This six-level action game was converted from a Data East coin-op. The gameplay involving beating a succession of guys to complete the level, then an end-of-level bad guy. The action takes place on two different levels of the screen, which can be jumped across or navigated using ladders. Moves such as punches and kicks are on offer. The control method makes jumping sideways quite tricky.

63 Extra Lives
When you are at the title screen, press:
B, A, Down, Up, Down, Up simultaneously on the 2nd controller. Press Start on Controller #1 to gain 63 extra lives.
Defeat Normal Enemies In 1 Hit At the title screen, on controller 2, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right A, B. Then press Start on controller 1.
Sound Test
At the ending, when the words \"The End\" appears and the flag stops waving, press Right, Left, Down, Up, A, A, B on controller 2. If done right, the flag will start to move again. You can now hear the game\'s music by pressing B on controller 1.
