becerra95 : I know for sure that Apple devices are known to be fast and functional, so it wouldn't surprise me if they stopped purposely slowing down phones after being sued. Although battery being crippled could be another reason for me to upgrade when needed. However, considering I do not do much besides looking at Discord/social media apps, hotspot, and calling on my phone, the battery shouldn't be much of a problem for a while, especially if I could enforce myself to force close all the apps at night before I go to bed.

How I see it when newer consoles get released, for games that already exist, or are going to be a spin-off, (or in some cases) the game would one up a version from the predecessor game series, I imagine they would port existing graphics from the previous-gen code to the new code. I do not know exactly how the improvements are done if any, but it is something interesting to think about. Zeldisaster : Does winning a prize count? If it does count, I have been gifted a new flat screen smart TV back in 2018, and it was also my birthday at that time. The TV is 40 inches but it does not have 4k however, but I plan on keeping it until it breaks. There is not much reason to upgrade if it is not broken.

When you were in grade school (college does not count), normally they block anything cool over there. However, in my case, when I went to high school... my school allowed pretty much anything for one year until they caught onto my shenanigans (tf2, Minecraft, etc.) nowadays they blocked most cool things, and the only source of entertainment over there is either discord or unblocked sites. Has anyone ever gotten away with installing steam on a high school computer before? Also, is discord blocked at your high school (if you were in high school in 2016 through 2022 or still going)?

For example, I remember back in the Wii era, I used to go on YouTube there, and also browser (IIRC). Otherwise I got no objection with consoles.

However, I did get a gaming laptop that year, which I had been trying for years to get a system that I could actually run games on (not low-spec hardware) I also started going to a technical college that year. All in all, the virus was the only sucky thing of 2020. Otherwise, it was not bad at all!

For the PS5, it is more of a meh to me considering it still has a massive scalper issue compared to XBOX Series X. Microsoft has done something about the issue, and scalpers are not as vicious about XBOX. Series S is I don't know to me, but if you want an XBOX, that is going to be your best bet since they don't generally target Series S. For Nintendo Switch, it is sort of a pass for me considering I do not consider myself huge on newer Nintendo titles after Wii was discontinued.
