gamerforlifeforever2 : Yeah, I think that the big companies leaned their lesson with that one. There have been other hyped-up games that fell flat, but that takes the cake. (and no one really expected E.T. to be spectacular in the first place to be honest, they just hoped it would sell)  Right on man.

There have been so very many that have captured my attention over the years. But to me, someone who really likes a good strategy title, Civilization II is my absolute favorite. Since I first bought the PS1 version probably in 1998 there is no other game that even comes close to as many hours I've spent playing. The only thing that it lacks are a good soundtrack and good graphics but everything is recognizable at least and that's not a really big issue for myself. The game has virtually unlimited replay value and has just enough depth for me. In fact, I think I'll start a new game today.

Passed 10,000 CP yesterday. Not too shabby. At least, I think that's pretty decent for being still under a year. I wish I could say my life was complete now but alas, I fear there's much more to be done on this Earth..

darthyoda : If I try to upload to youtube, it would go to my own channel. I think it would indicate that something is wrong since I've uploaded 300 videos the same way until now. Do you know who might know more to message about it? I was waiting to see if anyone else had an issue. I guess they do.

darthyoda : You never needed to go to Youtube before. It only lets you get to step 2 on Vizzed now. I can't upload either and I use chrome. Started yesterday for me. 

Yeah, you simply can't imagine how disappointed I was when I put this cartridge in the Atari and switched it on. I was like....where's Pac-Man and what is this mess? I still played the heck out of it because I'd spent so much allowance on it.  I was ten or so and 30 bucks was 3 months worth.

   That is an unbelievably difficult question for me. If I had to pick one that I respect the most, it would be Mick Foley. He may be suffering the effects of his wrestling days badly, but I never saw anyone take the bumps he did. I watched him and Undertaker in their famous Hell in the Cell match(which wasn't that great except for the high spots of going off the top of the cage, then THROUGH it) and honestly thought something had gone wrong and he was seriously gong to be crippled. THEN he got off the stretcher and climbed the cage again, THEN he got out the tacks..    On a totally different level Rob Van Dam was the most exciting performer I ever saw, mostly in the pre-merger old-school ECW days when he'd go off the top rope into the third row. The best talker for me was Roddy Piper. He could really spin a promo back in the day.  Most hated wrestlers : Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart.          Brain-Splattered- Bruno Sammartino was a legend and was great, but he never could take the I-C strap from the Honkey-Tonk Man.

zanderlex : Pretty sure my team is the Mighty Kites. If I win great. If I don't I'll get over it I'm pretty sure. I can't just decide to go all-out one day or anything so I can't make any kind of prediction. I'll never have 300 actions in a day most likely unless there's some kind of fluke going on. I tried hard yesterday and got almost 250 I think it was. :p  Never say never though..

PacmanandMariofan : Mappy? It had to be Mappy didn't it? JK, not a big fan is all. You must be psychic. I don't know, we'll see as far as winning goes. These guys get pretty competitive. I can really only do so much as far as actions. I like to just kind of plod along mostly. If my team makes the Super Bowl this year though forget it.

PacmanandMariofan : Good, informative review of a truly iconic game. You missed the story though: Destroy the space-bugs!  I have to smile when you say you wished you could pause the game, I remember when the Atari 5200 came out and that was such a big deal for it. They actually had a commercial where they showed someone pausing a game(Pac-Man I think) to answer the phone. Things we take for granted.
