...there is a bug with profiles. I've checked it a few seconds ago and it still is there.

That thread was made in November 2016. It was about the same problem. In case you can't check out that thread, i'll explain the problem:

Each time an user sets their background from scroll to fixed and saves it and exits the settings menu, it gets changed back to 'scroll'. And i said 'each time an user' because Pokemonfan1000 mentioned the same problem in that thread. I've tried other things like 'save and continue', 'preview (buggy)' and even other settings like the background repeat. And apparently, only the scroll/fixed section is broken.

I think it's a bit rude to force David to change it but this has been a bug quite a long time. And no one wants bugs on their site, right?
