It's been raining a ton here lately. Not sure what happened as not even two weeks ago we've hardly been seeing rain - though I guess that's more out of the norm for Miami than having rain lol. Our lawn's grass was starting to die out so I guess it was due. Guess I've got to mow it this weekend. I do prefer the rain though - easier to sleep to.

Another heat wave began today. It's not as bad as the last one because it's not humid but it's still really hot. It's also been really dry because it's been like two weeks since the last time we had a lot of rain during the day. It's mostly been a light drizzle here and there or a shower in the middle of the night when it doesn't really matter. The dryness wouldn't be so bad if only it was like 10 degrees cooler.

We're going through a heat wave as usual, so the weather is very hot and humid. At least now I live in a place where there's much more air flow both in house and on the streets, so I can cope with it much better.

Rain showers sometimes appear out of nowhere, like happened yesterday, which makes the humidity skyrocket as well as cooling the breeze. So basically what lowers the overall temperature makes it worse to handle at the same time. Only when the storm gets serious do you really feel the drop in temperature, otherwise it's not as noticeable as you'd think.

Honestly it's kind of crazy we had maybe 2 weeks of 10degree(f) winter weather(it was at least a white christmas lol), and now we're back into the 60s... followed by the week after another snowstorm it's too much more my seasonal depression to handle because it can't even figure out what season is coming

Believe it or not, Winnipeg is experiencing above average temperatures right now, we are usually at this point of the freezing weather when we are literally dealing with freezing weather but it seems we are getting relief, I don't know how long it will last though, the last time we had a mild winter was 11 years ago, it was so mild that there was a thunderstorm on the last day of winter.

The weather over here has been really nice for the last week or so. It got very cold right before Christmas, to the point where I had to wear a shirt, a sweater, and a full jacket but I've been able to go back to wearing a T-shirt and a light jacket. Hasn't been any snow at all yet.

Today January 3rd we had severe thunderstorms. Several Counties in my area have had Thunderstorm Wind Damage. There was even a few tornado warnings issued, but it is unknown if anything touched down.

As a Meteorologist I find it crazy that last week my area had record cold. For the past 3 days it has felt like early March Outside, which added fuel to the storms.

It's been snowing since yesterday so great out as far as I'm concerned it's not too chilly either with it being 25 which is warm enough for me to go and shovel snow in shorts but my hands were too cold so I had to put gloves on but my legs were fine.

Things have taken a turn over the last few days and gotten pretty cold, low 30s during most of the day.

I certainly do not appreciate the change, the 50s was the perfect place for the weather to be, in my opinion. Now even in the sun it stays pretty cold.

The wind has also been blowing pretty damn hard, not a big fan of that.

On Thursday I lost my hat so my face and hair have been exposed to the cold but then on Friday I got a haircut which made my head even colder. Today the temperature dropped by around 10 degrees and as a result of everything, it's been pretty unbearable when I've been out and it's supposed to be like this for at least a few days.
