All right, now many of us love super smash bros, and love most of the characters in the game, but let's face it there are plenty of characters that we feel do not deserve a spot in the game. Whether it's because you just don't like that character, or they feel out of place, or way overpowered so as to break the game. In addition, we would also like to put our own characters in. So let's start with my top 5 hated characters, and who should be there instead.

5. Doctor Mario. 

   Don't get me wrong guys, I actually like the current Dr. Mario vs. the current Mario. I just feel that they should change Mario's down special back to that awesome spin move, as opposed to the nearly useless Fludd move (Also love Super Mario Sunshine, the move just does not work) Put Dr. Mario as a palette of Mario and replace him with Paper Mario. 

Paper Mario would use his hammer for a lot of his attacks. For his specials you could use various items from the original Paper Mario. Fire for his side special and ice for his neutral. For his down special, he could use a pow block. And for his up special he could use his Spring jump from Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door. Also, his dodge would be a sideways so that you see him as a thin sheet of paper and almost can't see him. Remiscient of how you turn sideways to get through thin spaces. For his final smash, he could flip out into 3d and use a selection of his partners from the first two games to ruthlessly batter you. 



4. Dark Pit.


Again, I don't hate this character, it's just redundant. He should be a palette choice. Now, who should take his place? How about Knuckles?

Come On! Knuckles was totally born for this game! Ever since his first games he's been punching stuff out. Honestly, most of his attacks would just be various punches. I'm not certain about specials but for a final smash, Knuckles would summon the Master Emerald. Anyone that it hits over 60% damage would have the ground under their feet collapse, and they would get dragged off the bottom of the  screen.


3. Cloud.

I know I will probably get a lot of hate for this one. But Cloud really broke the balance of the game, supposedly he got nerfed in later patches, but whatever they did, it's not enough. Between, his sword, speed, and hitting power, he just feels like such an unfair character. 

2. Villager

Okay. I want to know what moron thought that it was a good idea to bring the guy with no name in! Shoot, there's not even combat in his game. Logic says this guy should get pummeled every time he shows up. But that's not the case. Villager has so many tricks it's just ridiculous. You can't survive two seconds with this guy without getting one of his dumb tricks thrown at you. So you figure, let's fight fire with fire. Toon Link I choose you! You throw a bomb and he pockets it! Really??? You just pocketed my bomb to throw at me later. Agggggggghhhhhh!!!!!

Who should come back in place of him. That's easy. I loved the Pokemon trainer from brawl (mainly because of squirtle) I know why they did not include him this time. But seriously Pokemon trainer was so much fun. (It is true that he has no name, but that is easily fixable!)



1. Bayonetta

Okay bayonett, I know that this is new for you and all, but there is a very specific rule in smash bros. When you use an up special jump move, you can't do it again, and you are either helpless till you hit the ground or you can pull off some air attacks. YOU are never able to use that move again till you are hit or you land. Nice way to break the rules. Also, you just came into existence a couple years ago. You should not be in smash bros. It's for classic characters only (or at least characters from classic series) Bayonette is neither of those. Who should take her place?

Honestly, ANYONE would be preferrable to bayonetta in my opinion. Do remeber, all these characters are simply my opinions based on my experiences. I respect anyone that actually likes these characters, as long as you're not trolling me in a smash. Trollers get no rescpect from me! Let me know what your top disliked characters are, and who should be there instead.

I'll give you a list of characters that don't belong in Smash.

5. Dr. Mario

While I'll admit that he's better than Mario in SSB4, it doesn't change the fact that he's a clone. Seriously, just give Mario his spin move, and he's just as good as Dr. Mario. I would put him higher on the list, but the fact that he's more useful than the character he's a clone of gives me a reason to want to play as him from time to time.

4. Mr. Game & Watch

I honestly don't get why that character is in the games in the first place, sure he's different than all the other characters, but he's also just a black blob or whatever you want to call him. I don't get why something that looks so bland is in a fighting game with the likes of Mario, all the different Pokemon, and the other characters that are in the game.

3. Pac-Man

Ok, I get that Pac-Man is one of the most recognizable video game characters out there, but putting him in Smash Bros was kinda dumb in my opinion. He's absolutely terrible in battle, and he just feels completely out of place compared to the rest of the Smash Bros characters out there. Why is he only at #3? You'll see.

2. Villager

I think that Animal Crossing is starting to become a bit overrated due to Villager not only appearing in Smash Bros but also being a part of Mario Kart 8 DLC. This character isn't even that useful. Why couldn't have they brought back Ice Climbers instead of adding this worthless fighter?

1. EVERY SINGLE FREAKING FIRE EMBLEM CHARACTER besides Marth and Ike

It's absolutely ridiculous how many Fire Emblem Characters are in Smash now, and some of them act as clones, like Lucina being a clone of Marth. Like seriously, there are just as many Fire Emblem characters in the most recent Smash Bros games as there are Pokemon. We don't need this many human characters when we've got Little Mac, Cloud, Bayonetta, and Ryu. All that we really need is Marh and Ike, like old times. There's no need for those others to be in the game.
