So as you might be able to tell I like super Mario sunshine in fact it is my favorite game but have you seen the commercial if not you should do that now... it is so bad... I mean the main line of lyrics is "clean is better then dirty and dirty is meaner (I think I if you think it is something else please tell me) then clean!" I just thought I need to expand the knowledge of this ad.

The man singing in that commercial didn't need those kids as a chorus he deserves a Grammy for his fabulous performance! Jokes aside this is probably why we don't see commercials for video games anymore but video game trailers. I've never heard of a good television commercial.

This commercial is awful. But...I kinda miss corny commercials like this. Mainly because there aren't any decent video game commercials, so what ones are made should at least be dumb enough to make you laugh.

It's also a major reason why I personally consider the Gamecube to be Nintendo's worst home console. I wanted perfection, like Super Mario 64, but instead, I got a water spraying machine to spray the paint off of Isle Delfino, and some of the worst voice acting in video gaming history.

Wow... That was... Just... Horrendous...
The concept of the game was stupid (clean the sludge, Mario!). That being said the actual game play mechanics were really well done. I enjoyed playing through Super Mario Sunshine, but that might have just been because of my age at the time. If I had ever seen that commercial, I doubt I would have ever got it at all.
