If I were a god, I would play with the oceans all day. The thought of controlling water was always cool to me, but in a planetary scale would seem that much more epic to me. I would also dabble in wiping out the human race every 200 years to ensure that they don't become too unintelligent as our current generation is becoming. Just to keep humanity on its toes

I would like to say that I'd be helpful and make the world perfect but to be honest, it'd be really tempting to create chaos with such power. I find it hard to believe that anyone would not create tsunamis or start an all-out war when you have that kind of power in your fingertips.

As a Mormon, this is something I think about a lot.  Part of our doctrine is that we can become exalted and live the kind of life God lives, becoming like Him.  Eventually, the most righteous will become perfect, and will be able to do anything within the realm of possibility.  I wonder what I would do for entertainment.  Would I play video games I had enjoyed before?  Would I eat ice cream still?  I can't really imagine enjoying these things after I have become perfect unless I had a special someone to share the experiences with.  We could relive great memories and make new ones.  I look forward to it.

If I suddenly got omnipotence, I would start by making a separate universe, go into it, then destroy it all, then when I'm satisfied with that(to get rid of destructive urges early), I would return and start helping the world whenever I felt like it, then when I got bored of that, I would go into cartoon/movie/video game/etc universes and give myself temporary amnesia and powers fit for that world and would switch if I ever died or my set time was up.
