So the last movie I saw in theatres was actually Sailor Moon R just last week.  It was a special showing they did since they re-dubbed the movie.  It was pretty good.  Kinda cool to see an uncut Sailor Moon movie in English.  Usagi's new voice actress though was super nasally.

The last movie that I saw in theaters was the new XXX movie. I saw it in theaters in 3D twice already. I saw it the day it came out for free on Friday and then on Tuesday I saw it with my friend again and he paid for me. I loved the movie both times.

I just watched Lego Batman. It was a really funny movie. I liked that they made a lot of humor for Adults to understand, so that they would have just as much fun as the kids.

The last movie I saw in the theater was the latest M. Night Shymalan thriller, SPLIT.

I won't spoil it by giving details, but it was very good with a great twist-ending. I would highly recommend it to fans of the genre.

I last watched Fist Fight. That was a REALLY hilarious movie! Everyone in the theater was dying from some of the comedy.

I went to see Trainspotting 2 last Friday and I really enjoyed it. It's been a while since I went to the movies so that was refreshing as well.

My wife and I took our daughter to see Moana for her third birthday. It was just the three of us and we abandoned our 1 year old with my wife's parents. Alex, my daughter, loves movies and she had never seen one on a big screen. We don't have a big TV because we don't watch tv all that much so when the screen took up a massive wall, Alex was suitably impressed.

She said, "Woooooooow," when we walked in. And we shared popcorn, we watched previews, and she learned to not talk a whole lot in a theater. Luckily, movies and cartoons transfix her so she doesn't say much anyway. She gets wrapped up in the story.

And Moana was entertaining to watch. I enjoyed it, even if it had plot holes big enough to drive a truck through with no problem. The singing was limited, it was empowering to girls, and there was enough wink-and-nod humor for adults to enjoy. It wasn't just slapstick that kids laugh at. And I'd rather my daughter not think people getting hit by things is funny anyway.

She still talks about the movie, we have the book, and we'll go back for more. I'm not a huge movie guy by my kid is shaping out that way. I'm sure we'll see more in the near future.

I saw Logan with my friends yesterday and one thing that I learned from it is that SONY can't make good phones.

I liked the story, really deep.

The last movies I seen in theaters were Logan and Beauty and the Beast.

Logan was amazing, and speaking as a life long X-Men fan and someone who has followed X-23 since her debut on X-Men:Evolution, it was a beautiful goodbye to an old favourite and exciting introduction to a character I hope to see plenty more of.

Beauty and the Beast was a great remake and I actually enjoyed it more than the original movie. Emma Watson was an amazing Belle.

I most recently saw Life... What an awesome movie! I'm not much of a spooky movie guy usually (though I absolutely love most of the ones that I've seen), but Life was great. It started off a little shaky, but really made up for it later on with plot twists and a solid overall storyline. Worth seeing!

I saw Alien: Covenant at the theatre this last weekend.

It was pretty good. It felt like a mish mash of Prometheus and Alien(s) and so it sort of felt disjointed.

I understand what the point of the movie was but it could have been much better if they picked a tone from the beginning and stuck with it.

The last movie I saw in a movie theater was The Lego Batman Movie. I loved it even though I'm an oddball who's never seen any Batman movies. I'm sure I'd appreciate the humor even more if I'd seen any of the original movies, but oh well. I rarely watch movies, let alone see them in theaters.

As always with Lego movies, I was amazed at the cool, fast-paced animation and the amount of jokes and references they cram into one movie. I'm looking forward to seeing the Lego Ninjago movie when that comes out.

I saw the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie recently and I thought it was pretty good. I mean, it wasn't anything new or amazing or anything but it was entertaining enough. I enjoyed it and would suggest that people check it out, even if it is after it is out of theaters.
