This idea. I like it. I'm always on Pokémon Showdown, it'd be nice to get some type of reward.

I'd like to join, I have an important question though, when will this be held? If it's between the 1st and the 3rd, I can't make it. I'll be at a con. Just thought I'd ask before sending the vizzed.

Juliaisme123 : It will likely start the day after all the spots are filled up. You'll have 5 days to organize a matchup each round though so it should hopefully be managable provided you'd be available the days the days before/after 1-3rd of january.

Zlinqx : I'm open all days besides New Year's Eve, First-Third. Other than that, I can do this whenever. 

Juliaisme123 : Considering spots may not fill up by then anyway and I realized a lot of people may have plans for new years eve, the earliest date this will start will likely be 1st of January which means you'd have the 4th and 5th to have the match (or more if the start date turns out to be later).

Zlinqx : I actually just noticed this thread. I'll go ahead and join this contest. Sending the Viz now. Btw, I just got on that Pokemon Showdown thing, and I noticed I couldn't use my username because it's too long, so on Pokemon Showdown, I'm Who Dey Gamer.

Zlinqx : If nobody else signs up for this thing, then how will this work with 15 contestants? Would one user get a first round bye or something?

Zlinqx : Reading Gamer's first post in this thread gave me an idea. Maybe it's good to create a list of our Pokémon Showdown usernames. There are users who have a different username on Pokémon Showdown than on Vizzed like Furret (who's FunnyFurret there). Mine is the same as my Vizzed username by the way.

That's a good point. We should so we know who to look for when this starts. My username on showdown is Greatmangreyyellow

It's been a long while since I used Showdown, and I don't clearly remember if I even had a name. I don't mind using the same one as in here, it's not like I would use Showdown that much anyway.

So firstly I'd like everyone to respond in this thread with their Pokemon Showdown username that they're using for the tournament if they haven't done so already. In future rounds I'll include the username of everyone in the matchup lists and in the register list in the initial post.

The first round starts now and results should be posted latest on 9/1, it is up to each contestant to organize a matchup time with their opponent and it is strongly encouraged to post a link of the replay of the matchup. If absolutely no other time can be decided 5pm server time (US central) the 4th day of the round will be used so in this case...

Default Time if no other can be agreed upon: 5pm  Server Time (CST) 8th of January
