    *Distant banging sounds and screams heard* ...RAHHHHHHHH...STOP IIITTT!!! STOP ALL THE VOICES, JUST SHUTTTTT UUUPPP!!!! *Bashes head against wall* ....Carcer City, the infamous run-down town for housing one of the most criminal horrors our world had been forced to witness. One criminal secretly released from death row only to cause more havoc amongst the city, thanks to a corrupt snuff film producer named Lionel Starkweather. Many corrupt people working alongside Starkweather, were brutally murdered by that said inmate...James Earl Cash. More evidence of this sickening tale can be found online, with the court record open for all to see! With that horrific imagery and it's past shown to us, we turn our view to the backside of Carcer...where a whole new tale is about to be born...one just as savage and unthinkable as before! (possibly even worse to some) We stare across the sky and are presented with the "Dixmor Asylum" institute, a place reserved only for those that are said to not even have a mind vailable to them anymore....becoming madmen and a threat to our society. The cameras and recordings now pan over to a new inmate in our series, Daniel Lamb whom was escorted into this establishment after an experiment went awfully wrong...leading his life to be forever changed and his company followers to betray him. Till one dark night, that havoc was about to break loose once more upon city streets below! A terrible storm has caused a ruckus in the compound freeing and fleeing several prisoners from their cages of death, one of which being Daniel and his hidden cellmate partner Leo Kasper. It's time to make those mutts pay for what they've done! *Sonic57 and User pick up syringes* We'll make "the project" pay for what they've done to me!

                           /__/_/__Soaking up that terror from before, and squeezing it's blood all over your visuals______

    If you've seen our previous entry before, into our company "Rockstar's" insane mind, you'll know that this series is known for creating and invoking gut wrenching scenes of murder and gore. Yet also inducing you with that chilling atmosphere of kill or be killed by one man or many! Yet some people may say due to the graphical limit/value found inside the first adventure it took away from that "gruesome" nature that it was trying to pull off, if the characters were more detailed and whatnot It'd have been creepier than it already is in its most basic of natures. So how does this sickening sequel match up to the original horror shown on the PS2's dark library? Well first off, the games graphics are highly improved from the original with the game looking like what you'd expect of a late-end PS2 game or even a very early PS3 game such as Call of Duty 3 or Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Basically unlike GTA III or the first Manhunt, the facial features and expressions you see when the characters act/talk to one another is more brought out. Whereas before you may just have seen their face moving when talking especially when Cash (mostly) and Claude weren't programmed to talk and be silent protagonists, since neither company really knew how to adapt voices into their main characters at that point. Several years later we receive this game, and are able to see Daniel and others talk like what'd we'd expect for that time. (mouths moving, being able to push and shove people in cutscenes, etc.)
    So the graphics have improved and you're letting on about the somewhat bloodbath we saw in the original being vamped up? But, how does the game actually live up visually wise from there? Good question and I'll give you some detailed answers in return, as such let's head onto a couple examples I can share with you all. *goes behind enemy as screen filters to bright red tone*

                |!!!!|Censoring(!)(!!)

    Probably the most known fact about this game deals with the HEAVY censoring it had to go through, just to even be accepted by the ESRB and also not be banned worldwide since neither Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft would allow AO+ (Adults Only) games on their hardware. Especially since the first game was already banned in countries outside of the US, Rockstar was forced to town down the violence or add multiple layers of filtering to the game...wherein it could safely be dropped down to an M Rating. (17+) Soooo when the game was finally released and gameplay was shown off online whenever you'd cause an execution 3 things would happen: "a white texture figure would come onto the screen when an attack was made" "A bright red filter would come on to hide most of the blood you'd see in scenes" "and a dark yellowish hue would be combined with the previous two to shade out some of the characters you'd be attacking" as such, many fans and critiques rated the graphics and style of the game poorly due to the fact that you couldn't really see anything happening during the executions. Essentially making the executions pointless to carry out and offering nothing to the gameplay, to which I myself and many others will agree with that statement. Just a short mini-segment here for those of you that rush in thinking this game isn't held back like its predecessor was, and that this review IS going to be based on the UNCENSORED playthrough like how Rockstar had intended so let's go into the REAL examples now! *grabs enemy, brutally slashing throat and face with glass shard*

             zzooOOO|AwakeningOOoozz

    Starting off easy let's talk about the first place you wake up and start your killing spree in, the Dixmor Asylum right after that "event" we saw occur in the intro to the story. Like one would expect of an "asylum" or in other terms a psychotic prison setting, you start off walking down a dark messy hallway with cell doors amongst the walls and scattered messes all across the floor. As you walk down this path you can even peer into the cell and see other psychotics that were sent here for one reason or another, and if you peer into certain cells you can see many things happen some of which are action against you and others are just chilling sights. Such as walking past one cell can lead to them taking a piss/tossing crap debris upon you, all while the other cells may have writing upon the walls begging for help or to just simply die...one of which even shows a cellmate hanging themselves as the chair they stood on flies towards you as you pass on by. With red alarm sirens going off every step you take in any location, pretty easy to understand just how unsettling this place can be on your first visit in when you look over everything. The next thing you could compare is the kinds of enemies/inmates you may see in this level, being a prison for people that flew over the cuckoo's nest the inmates usually all have deranged looks on their faces or masks & chains tying their face shut. (similarly to what Bane from batman wearing but more drastic) As we can see from this example, the backgrounds as well as just the standard atmosphere of the game has stayed equal to the original and looks wise has greatly improved from the first entry. A nice touch to an anticipated sequel in my eyes; but, let's put this segment to a close as we've got FAAAARR more work to do!

    Now while this hedgehog inmate "would" typically give you 2 places to scout about and enjoy, I felt the main thing that may injure this games enjoyment to you was more important to be addressed first. I've seen reactions to patients before and know if things go on for too long it'll get annoying, so let's finish this off now. Looking at everything you've seen up above it's easy to tell that the graphics aren't a sham to the original horror of Rockstars life; however, that one censorship issue may turn a few off. Going past that though and looking at it in its root form the characters themselves have greatly improved and it still leaves you with that chilling feeling of: "he'll die or I'll die...better now mess it up!" even if it falters at one point later on. There's also the fact that in this game when you kill enemies during your violent or brutal executions, the blood flying out of them will actually stick to your characters persona...basically meaning your shirt or face can be doused in blood by the time one mission is finished. Which is a very neat touch in my opinion Rockstar, nice one! With all of this in mind I'd say Manhunt 2 deserves a nice 9 out of 10 for its graphical prowess! Great job...now c'mon we NEED to stop the project and there's still a while before we even get there! *jumps down from ledge and decapitates enemy below*

                         ~~~++__Musical medleys of death leaving some notes passing...and other falling below__--```
    So from the looks of things above, it seems like things have only been improving greatly in terms of quality gameplay style right? So far...yes; however, I guarantee there'll be some points later on that drive this winning slaughterhouse away from the "completion" zone of this level. On terms with the improvements first though, the sound development for characters inside the game has definitely improved as stated before in the graphics overview of our mission. Wherein the voices actually match your character nicely and with the added touch of speaking animations on their face, with the added fact that the responses of enemies/partners inside this game is clearer and you don't have to be right beside them to understand everything properly. What about the soundtrack for the game though? This is more on the tricky sides of death, as the game has both degraded and improved in certain points. Like the music STILL fits with the stages and atmosphere of the game...and honestly even more so than the original; although, there are a few songs you may not enjoy as much in comparison to the first game due to their repeating nature or less-power inducing feeling to them. Yet, I'm pretty sure blabbering isn't what you came for...so let's get you into the zone and bloodshed by stating some examples you can peer into if you want a better understanding. *yells at viewers* What're you waiting for?! It's either them of us so let's move! *Runs past as enemies scream wildly at players*
                 o.o )-(Psycho & Follow me)|( o.O
    Confused about the 2 themes in this one example at all? Normally I wouldn't do this; albeit, the stage "awakening" noted up above technically uses 2 themes by soundtrack standards. The reason as to why I still put them together is that they stick together as you progress through the area, as when you're starting out you'll just have the regular "Follow me" music playing. Then as you move through the stage having killed a few guards/nurses at this point, the more insane theme of Psycho takes places and adds to that horrific and chilling town of this asylums background. Let's just talk a minute to experience it...shall we? As we exit our cell due to a strange lock down we see blood handprints and puddles all over amongst the floors below and inside others cells, with that dark and somewhat depressing tone ringing through your ears as you visualize all these messy sights...from the pools of blood to just the dead bodies scattered about by other inmates or the nurses themselves. All the while as you continue to approach closer to the end of this crazy house, and the tone suddenly changes...becoming more petrifying upon going around certain foes in your way and shoving that medical syringe into their face and taking their lives to save your own. Its just, wow, if you were able to picture like the music you'd here in scary movies like: "Saw" "Psycho" or "Halloween" you'll notice both of them having the same tone and creepy value as this song from Manhunt 2.
    Just picture those scenes where you see the murder slowly lurking behind the movie victim and then it cuts to their blood being splattered across the curtain or floor, just ugh...definitely is a great intro to and change for the 1st level of the game, creeping you out with the few minutes that you take to explore and execute any individuals in your path. This makes the games soundtrack sweet for a starting position by just making you wanna see how much worse things will go on as you meet against certain individuals in buildings or in your past. Which leads us to our next example below which is...
               [ Main Theme ]
    Ahhh the Main theme of Manhunt 2, most of you shall remember that in my last review of the 1st game in this delectable series...that I ended up giving it a high score just evenly based on that song. The way it just drew you into the game and filled you with anticipation for what you'd be seeing and going up against during your escaping adventure, and such a weird and strange narrator messaging you around everywhere on where you should be going/whom you should be attacking during each scenario. With such a dark story and invigorating beat it just made you wanna move on and start that story right away, so you may now be wondering how its sequel lives up in that regard? Though each story deals with revenge in one way or another, it's still different in each one due to the perspective and/or tone that wreaks off the games intro or game box. The first one being more so about revenge for what you're going through for freedom, and this one being revenge mostly for what you were put through and how it damaged by making your life a living hell...making you become criminally insane...forced into a rough mental prison. Just kind of picture the sort of tone you hear in haunted movies, wherein the scenes make you believe a monster is gonna pop out behind the actor. That is basically what your earways shall collect and make out when listening to it. So what do I personally feel about this song as the games main theme?
    Personally I still prefer the 1st games Main Theme more as it really pulled you in and had a desire to play, even if you didn't know much or anything about the game...it'd make you wanna see past that eye-catching intro. The second intro although not as dramatic to catch your views, it strongly goes with the darker tone of the game and matches the gameplay style in comparison. So while it wouldn't be my first pick, anyone can still certainly enjoy it for what it is just like the game itself. But time to end this symphony of madness and move on before we get spotted *knocks lead pipe on wall and waits to execute member*
    Looking at everything altogether we can definitely tell that just like the graphical design, its sound quality has greatly improved. From having more characters with actual voice acting (alongside the enemies) to the normal foes you'll see lurking about in each area. Take for instance the sound effects of certain weapons or even just the execution sounds that come from the enemies when performing brutal or environmental kills, it literally sounds as though you're right there sawing their head or torso off with your weapon of choice...*shudders* even I'm getting a little torn up from it. The soundtrack though it can be more appealing, mood/atmosphere wise, also has some songs like the intro and credits theme which may not sound as pleasing compared to the original game. Looking at all of that I'd say a 7 out of 10 is the score this game deserves for its sound department. Time to move on and look forward towards our future! *Sits by side of car and argues with partner*
                                ```____Brutality at its finest with much enjoyment to experience____```

    It seems as though this game hasn't been that disappointing (unless counting censoring) similarly to how the first game was; and yet, with changes made here and there...how does this game handle in comparison? Similarly from the differences already noted above, it all just depends on what you enjoy most in the Manhunt series. If you enjoyed the same brutal nature of Cash's experience in Manhunt 1 accompanied by the difficulty, then you'll probably enjoy this game a lot more due to the fact of just how many more things you're able to do to enemies in order to take them out and leave yourself covered in the victims blood...an unused and recovered trait from the first games planning stages. Again, what I always feels makes this series great is its ability to ease you out of something with plenty of executions to take upon some enemies strewed about the levels. Like stated in the last review, if you're angry and just need to let that fuel/hatred out of your system without any damage to anything in real life...then this shall be perfect for you! Due to all the executions that were added into this game such as: Environmental Executions, Gun Executions, and Jumping Executions! We'll delve deeper into that later; but, these are mostly a lot more gruesome than some normal attacks you'd carry out on enemies below you. If gore-related games aren't the kind of things for you though, then you'll definitely wanna stick away from this game in any kind of shape/form just as a warning to some of you viewers out there.
    The last point I feel I could bring up with the addictiveness of Manhunt 2 would be that, if you were a fan of how difficult the first game could get/already was...you might end up being let down with this sequel since it's A LOT easier than the original. Again like with the attacks the details will come in a much later segment, so let's just hurry up and get to that point quickly so you all won't be salivating to see those results.

    In terms with the addictiveness there isn't much to say that just falls in "basic" addictiveness means so this section may not be as bulky as one may expect. Albeit however, this game does include a lot of additions that the first game didn't allow as stated in previous sections before this and up above. Even though there are only 15 scenes (16 if unlock a hidden one) total to play through in this game, the do seem to last longer than the original 20 from the first entry in this dark series...mostly due to just how many additions killing wise or gameplay wise that this game shall offer you. Between switching between Leo and Danny at some scenes due to backstory, many easter eggs you'll be able to find scattered about if you've played through Manhunt 1 all the way, and also the interesting plot we'll be diving into next there's certainly a lot to keep you entertained throughout. If you count the censoring then this may be lowered for you; however, we're not doing so and I also feel that most of you would also take it off and enjoy it for its true nature anyway. All of this combined with the pleasure of killing when you're frustrated (to which I hope I don't get into Vizzed jail for saying that) leads me to give Manhunt 2 an 8 out of 10 for here! *shows 3 star end ranking*

                          !!!One invention turn disastrous...causing great inanities...and 1 big mystery???

    *Rainstorm pouring outside as thunder strikes around city* ...ngh...I know I'm not...I didn't do anything wrong...I'm not insane but these dang voices won't stop in my head! Just SHUTTTT UUUUPPP!!! *flashback shows 6 year old event with family* What the heck is wrong with you David, why would you volunteer for that experiment?! We've tested it before and it's completely safe, besides if this works out I can support you Judy...as well as our kids! We'd clear all of our debts!! Danny why must you always think about yourself instead of caring about us...your family?! Why can't you just support me on this dang it! *flashes back to cell* Was it because of what I did?? Why did you have to leaaave me Judy?? What's wrong with me and WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER ANNNYYYTHING!!!! *Thunderstorm hits electric supply for Asylum* ~ !WARNING! ~ ...All cell doors are open!! .....huh?! What's going on?! *Leo walks towards open cell* Hey...looks like things will work out for us both, you wanted to get out of here didn't you? Then let's MOVE! The only way you'll get the questions you want is too kill anyone that gets in your way and stop "the project" immediately! What about my past and my memories I need to find that first! Danny that DOESN'T matter your past is OVER...all that matters is putting an end to the project and the evidence against us! It matters to ME! I NEED to know who the heck I am...I left that note with my name and details on it for a REASON! The only way you'll find out is if you follow me after the project Danny and take out anyone in your way...take a life for once and see how it FEELS! *heads out of cell* Look, there's a victim right in front of you blocking the exit...take him out and relieve your inner turmoil! I can't do it Leo, it's not right!! It's either you or him now choose Daniel!! I...I CAN'T RRRGH... *slowly creeps behind person and brutally stabs with syringe* ...nice job Daniel...now let's go! *fades to black*

    The story in and of itself may not seem like much from this; although, trust me it is actually very deep once you get into it and though some may call it cliché or what not...I can at least say it'll be very interesting for a first time around. Normally I would've given you more detail, the only issue is that adding one piece of information can spoil a large part of this game for you and its "mystery" surrounding it which causes the game to be so eye-catching in the first place. It is a unique story that I would recommend taking a peek at as even now I can still enjoy it after having seen it several times. My only question is...can you remember all that's happened? Or has the project taken that away from you as well? The story for this game deserves an 8 out of 10 for being a little cliché, yet still noteworthy enough to enjoy greatly. Time to move on before we pass out again *jumps over side and bashes guard on way down*

                        /<~>/Many memories to explore & deadly secrets all around our protagonists mind>~<

    Moving onto the "big" step inside the games and that's how much they'll offer to you from the start to even after its ending tale. Already seeing the huge change from an executed prisoner out for revenge to a normal guy forced to rot his brain inside his asylum cell due to past events we can see that this has taken a big step in creating something memorable, fresh, and yet...also familiar in some aspects as to not stray away too far from older fans. Alongside going into the past and learning more deeply about the characters themselves in this sequel, we also have a lot more variety in the levels ranging from past events during the storyline to shoot-out type levels and even just pure-stealth oriented stages. Even though there may not be as many stages in this game, the length and variety should definitely make up for the whole 5-7 hours of playtime (depending on how well you know the game) and the "mostly" lack of any unlocks or something after going through the game completely. During most levels inside this game you'll end up playing as Daniel and accompanied by Leo so you'll know exactly where to hide out and go to in order to reach "the projects" hideout and find out exactly what it is you want; although, in those past stages mentioned before you can actually have the ability to play as Leo which even if there isn't much difference between the two it's always nice to have the ability to interact with each main character throughout the story.
    Especially when you see their differences in personalities as the game goes deeper and deeper, leaving you to see the mischief you may take place as Leo and the mysteries you're thrown into as Daniel trying to recover his thoughts. There isn't really any other basic things to talk about, so why not get into the nitty-gritty of this violent game that we've been looking forward to and a few noteworthy easter eggs here and there shall we?

           (-->)Executions(--^)

    While this game may falter at some points with the extras and somewhat in sound, I've constantly stated how much worse this game is execution wise in comparison to the first game. (hence the censorship segment in graphics) Being forced to go from an AO to M rating can obviously give you a clue into how bad this would've been had no changes been made to the original product; but, c'mon though I know you're asking...what about the execution in general? Alright, just like in the Manhunt 1 there are 3 separate levels that you can murder people at (Hasty, Violent, and Gruesome) with each one increasing in the amount of gore or horrific executions you'd be carrying out. Unlike the original though where it took a bit for the hasty/violent executions to be anywhere near the "gruesome" level, right from the get-go in this sequel things can be awful at only the violent and even hasty level depending on what kind of weapon you have at that point. If that wasn't bad enough for this series already with the head-bashings and gut-wrenching murders...they added 3 other kinds of executions that you can carry out throughout your journey, which are as stated previously the: "Environmental Executions, Gun Executions, and Jumping Executions" each of which creates their own kind of disgusting outcome that'd make even the bloodiest of players choke a little.
    Environmental executions usually taking place in areas with lots of equipment around or special objects in areas surrounding the players and the gangs of the level, whether it's taking a manhole and breaking someones head...dropping them to the crocodiles (or ninja turtles down below) or shoving them inside a Iron Maiden as the blood just shoots out from inside the box. Gun executions being much simpler wherein you sneak up on someone and depending on what weapon you're carrying you'll either knock them down and then shoot their head off...or just shoot it off when they turn around, leaving only the jump executions left which are the simplest as you'll target someone from a higher platform and jump down attacking them similarly to a normal violent or gruesome execution. While the censorship in the game will make these killing pointless to some, breath a sigh of relief to those players...as there IS actually a way to take out all of this with a few simple steps. By changing certain settings from within the game and/or using some cheat device like "Action Replay" you're given the ability to remove almost every bit of filtering within the game, with the PS2 you'll only be left with that dark red filter. However; in the PC version you can turn on stereoscopic mode and see the brutal attacks amongst enemies for all they're worth! Though they may seem weird in terms of how they appear uncensored it's probably due to the fact of just how much they had to change in order to have the game released at all. I think that's enough here though so let's continue onto ,the last point of this section! *slams knives into sections body to stop movement*

             [:]~Easter Eggs~[:]

    Like many games you see from this company and others, usually there will always be an egg or two hidden throughout the walls and sights of said games. Some pokes at other games series as a praise and others are kind of rude jokes implied at other games, (even if it's not serious) while others hide little secrets/nods to past installments or possibly even hints or nods to upcoming releases from certain companies. So how does this games easter eggs compare to the first games which only really had beta elements visible or left inside for some reason or another? It's similar in some ways with beta elements left in; albeit, this time with some Manhunt 1 nods to show their dedication and appreciation of this series they were able to work on during the PS2 era. So why not start off with some examples from both sides? First off we'll look into the Manhunt 1 easter eggs which can be found on both the "Assassination" and "Broadcast Interrupted" episodes, starting off with the "Interrupted" episode if we look through each one of the sets used for filming in this strange TV station...we'll come across a strange stabbed and hanging rabbit costume? Which as you would guess it is a nod to the "White Rabbit" from the original game which Starkweather had used to trap you!
    The second nod to the classic game would be in the "Assassination" episode wherein at a certain point, if you look through the sniper rifle Leo would've picked up before and peer off to the right where a crane is located...you'll find a sign labeled: "J.E.C and Sons construction" which is said to be a throwback to the first games protagonist "James Earl Cash" which I find to be a nice and interesting place to link a character like Cash to. The other 2 elements would be that at the beginning of the game when you're going up that elevator from the bottom floor, you'll reach a stop and have to climb up. Look down at the floor and what you'll see is a supposed beta version of Leo cut in half due to the elevators ride up, may not have much meaning but it's funny to see him run away right from the get-go and then see him dead later on in the level. Leaving us with the final example which is the trailer you can watch on a TV in the "Broadcast" area, it's a strange video titled Five Past High Noon which is either A. a tribute to 2004's Read Dead Revolver or B. A tribute to the possible upcoming game "Red Dead Redemption" either one is a nice poke by Rockstar themselves being the creator of both series alongside Manhunt 2. Think it's time we about put an end to this segment just like the project, right viewers? *punches camera with beta fists*

    As we've seen above even if this game is cut short in some regards, it sure makes up for it in other ways by adding more things in those regards. Especially when you're considering the executions which are the biggest point to this series, now having 4 ways to kill opponents instead of just the standard 1 while waiting for which level of execution you'll be performing. Due to all of this I think an 8 out of 10 for depth is the perfect score for Manhunt 2!

                  ..:x)(X)Loss of memory and time, yet an easier challenge than ever before(<---)::..

    We've had lots of advancements and degrades when going back and forth comparing the original games to its shattered sequel. Whether it deals with the story or just how the game looks/sound in comparison to before, the only other question left is how does this games difficulty stand up when looking down upon it from the classic Manhunt? Well both of these games actually do start out relatively easily, so that way you're able to feel prepared for what's ahead/feel comfortable with the controls and/or setup of the game. The main thing that made the first's games difficulty interesting though, was the fact that while it "started" easy if you didn't adjust to the enemies and surrounding of levels...it could get start to get a lot harder for some later. Mainly cause of the fact that your hiding areas could be found by later on groups and with the guns upgrading as the game comes closer and closer to its halt, your life can be drained instantly or just as quick as their own. It created real and in my opinion fair challenge to the player as it taught you not to go guns blazing and save your painkillers till you need them, since they don't show up as much once the late levels start rolling in. So how does Manhunt 2 feel when you compare it to its original? I will say point blank right now...even if you didn't play the first game and are at least average at a game when you get used to the controls, don't think anyone will really have "that" much trouble getting through it all.
    Why would I say that when clearly I made the point that the first game was difficult if you didn't watch yourself and stay sharp? Fact is that this game is A LOT easier than the first as said in the addictiveness section previously, therefore dropping this games difficulty rating significantly. If you're wanting to get a good idea of what its like, basically step back and take a look at the "faults" in this segment from the first game and add even more portions like that to this game. You still have the same thing with being close to an enemy and then not spotting you, (close up behind/to their side or in the shadows) as well as being able to run away after being caught and hide away easily. The only major difference is that now they'll actually search the shadows causing a tiny semi-quick time event to pop up  varying on which version of this game you pick up, on this version (PS2) you'll have to take certain button commands correctly and then they'll walk away. (while in the PC/Wii release you'd have to keep a circle inside a ring and not let it fall out of its boundaries) Alongside these 2 main points, there's also the fact that you can take a lot more damage in this sequel whether it's punching or being shot at compared to the original...and with the painkillers around the levels plus the whole not taking as much damage this time around. Would be best if we ended this point on difficulty now and move on to finally finish this story already!

    Between the multiple execution styles and everything listed above, I'd have to say that this game deserves a 4 out of 10 for difficulty and really is more so meant to be played if you just want some quick manhunt styled deaths without the fear of many challenges along the way. *bashes down project door taking minimal damage when entering* Time to put this games final chapter to a a close!

    So, we all can see the trial and tribulations that Daniel Lamb has had to suffer through during this adventure, trying to remember whom the heck he even is anymore and all of those memories he has shouting inside his head as seen before. We've finally reached the projects door and now is finall the time to gain aaallll those memories back! *gunshots heard echoing in mind* .......nngh...huh? Where am I? ...I see you removed the bridge...that's why I've been out for so long, 3 weeks you said? *looks in mirror at reflection* I understand and I agree we should continue with the work we have planned out! Don't worry Dr. Whyte, after all this is the future I had planned out for the family...I'm sorry I mean "with" the family I "used" to have and would hate to just stop right here. I just...need a few minutes after being gone so long, won't take too much longer doctor. *washes face with water* ...this is MY future now right? *Sonic57 looks in mirror and see's reflection of User*

                         ~~~++__Musical medleys of death leaving some notes passing...and other falling below__--```
    So from the looks of things above, it seems like things have only been improving greatly in terms of quality gameplay style right? So far...yes; however, I guarantee there'll be some points later on that drive this winning slaughterhouse away from the "completion" zone of this level. On terms with the improvements first though, the sound development for characters inside the game has definitely improved as stated before in the graphics overview of our mission. Wherein the voices actually match your character nicely and with the added touch of speaking animations on their face, with the added fact that the responses of enemies/partners inside this game is clearer and you don't have to be right beside them to understand everything properly. What about the soundtrack for the game though? This is more on the tricky sides of death, as the game has both degraded and improved in certain points. Like the music STILL fits with the stages and atmosphere of the game...and honestly even more so than the original; although, there are a few songs you may not enjoy as much in comparison to the first game due to their repeating nature or less-power inducing feeling to them. Yet, I'm pretty sure blabbering isn't what you came for...so let's get you into the zone and bloodshed by stating some examples you can peer into if you want a better understanding. *yells at viewers* What're you waiting for?! It's either them of us so let's move! *Runs past as enemies scream wildly at players*
                 o.o )-(Psycho & Follow me)|( o.O
    Confused about the 2 themes in this one example at all? Normally I wouldn't do this; albeit, the stage "awakening" noted up above technically uses 2 themes by soundtrack standards. The reason as to why I still put them together is that they stick together as you progress through the area, as when you're starting out you'll just have the regular "Follow me" music playing. Then as you move through the stage having killed a few guards/nurses at this point, the more insane theme of Psycho takes places and adds to that horrific and chilling town of this asylums background. Let's just talk a minute to experience it...shall we? As we exit our cell due to a strange lock down we see blood handprints and puddles all over amongst the floors below and inside others cells, with that dark and somewhat depressing tone ringing through your ears as you visualize all these messy sights...from the pools of blood to just the dead bodies scattered about by other inmates or the nurses themselves. All the while as you continue to approach closer to the end of this crazy house, and the tone suddenly changes...becoming more petrifying upon going around certain foes in your way and shoving that medical syringe into their face and taking their lives to save your own. Its just, wow, if you were able to picture like the music you'd here in scary movies like: "Saw" "Psycho" or "Halloween" you'll notice both of them having the same tone and creepy value as this song from Manhunt 2.
    Just picture those scenes where you see the murder slowly lurking behind the movie victim and then it cuts to their blood being splattered across the curtain or floor, just ugh...definitely is a great intro to and change for the 1st level of the game, creeping you out with the few minutes that you take to explore and execute any individuals in your path. This makes the games soundtrack sweet for a starting position by just making you wanna see how much worse things will go on as you meet against certain individuals in buildings or in your past. Which leads us to our next example below which is...
               [ Main Theme ]
    Ahhh the Main theme of Manhunt 2, most of you shall remember that in my last review of the 1st game in this delectable series...that I ended up giving it a high score just evenly based on that song. The way it just drew you into the game and filled you with anticipation for what you'd be seeing and going up against during your escaping adventure, and such a weird and strange narrator messaging you around everywhere on where you should be going/whom you should be attacking during each scenario. With such a dark story and invigorating beat it just made you wanna move on and start that story right away, so you may now be wondering how its sequel lives up in that regard? Though each story deals with revenge in one way or another, it's still different in each one due to the perspective and/or tone that wreaks off the games intro or game box. The first one being more so about revenge for what you're going through for freedom, and this one being revenge mostly for what you were put through and how it damaged by making your life a living hell...making you become criminally insane...forced into a rough mental prison. Just kind of picture the sort of tone you hear in haunted movies, wherein the scenes make you believe a monster is gonna pop out behind the actor. That is basically what your earways shall collect and make out when listening to it. So what do I personally feel about this song as the games main theme?
    Personally I still prefer the 1st games Main Theme more as it really pulled you in and had a desire to play, even if you didn't know much or anything about the game...it'd make you wanna see past that eye-catching intro. The second intro although not as dramatic to catch your views, it strongly goes with the darker tone of the game and matches the gameplay style in comparison. So while it wouldn't be my first pick, anyone can still certainly enjoy it for what it is just like the game itself. But time to end this symphony of madness and move on before we get spotted *knocks lead pipe on wall and waits to execute member*
    Looking at everything altogether we can definitely tell that just like the graphical design, its sound quality has greatly improved. From having more characters with actual voice acting (alongside the enemies) to the normal foes you'll see lurking about in each area. Take for instance the sound effects of certain weapons or even just the execution sounds that come from the enemies when performing brutal or environmental kills, it literally sounds as though you're right there sawing their head or torso off with your weapon of choice...*shudders* even I'm getting a little torn up from it. The soundtrack though it can be more appealing, mood/atmosphere wise, also has some songs like the intro and credits theme which may not sound as pleasing compared to the original game. Looking at all of that I'd say a 7 out of 10 is the score this game deserves for its sound department. Time to move on and look forward towards our future! *Sits by side of car and argues with partner*
                                ```____Brutality at its finest with much enjoyment to experience____```

           (-->)Executions(--^)

This game seems pretty interesting. It sounds...hilariously over the top brutal. And it sounds even better when you mentioned Bane masks. Bane is part of a elaborate series on inside jokes I have with my sister. And the ending to the review was exactly like the ending of
Spoiler:
MGS Phantom Pain
. So that just threw the entire review into a different light for me. lol

But this game sounds pretty good. Controversy aside it's a solid, functioning game with decent controls and an interesting story. Although Flowey and Chara rate it game of the year 10/10 though. x3 I would probably give it a 6.5/10 from all I've seen.

I wonder what the character limit on this thing is.
