Best Final Fantasy Voice Actor?

Who do you feel has the best voice in any of the Final Fantasy Games? It could be who has the most unique, who has the most fitting voice for their character, or a combination of whatever.

For me, my favorite would be John DiMaggio, who voices Wakka in Final Fantasy X, who I like for a variety of reasons. First off, I feel that's the kind of accent that a guy like that would have and I feel he pulled it off really well. Another reason I liked it was that I couldn't tell it was him because it was so different from what I normally hear, which is good because you don't want to hear the same voice in everything.

I have to agree with you, John DiMaggio is definitely the best Final Fantasy voice actor (and one of my favorite voice actors of all time for anything). Like you said, he voices Wakka and does an excellent job portraying a "Spiran islander sports jock" and I love his incantation and accent. YOU WANNA DEFEAT SIN, YAH?

Also Rikku's voice actor is neat.

Wakka had an interesting "cool" tone, but his constant "yah" got annoying in the end.

I personally prefered the low-tone characters. Lulu always had a serious poker face with the appropriate tone of voice, Auron had a very serious voice that sounded scarier (at times) than my father's and Seymor's voice acting would probably have been what Kefka would have sounded like

My personal favorite voice actor from Final Fantasy would have to be Gregg Berger, the guy who was the voice of Jecht. I always thought he did a perfect portrayal of what I expect the guy to sound like. Waka and Auron's voice actors are also great, but Jecht's is my favorite.

gamerforlifeforever2 : Yes, he could be included in the "deep voices" I like. Although you mostly hear him in the flashbacks, his "ignorance" about his quest (What is a Summer Ner?) was done better than Tidus.

I would have to agree here wakka's voice actor. There was something about it that stand out better than the others. And plus wakka was the comedy guy out of the group along with tidus. But I felt wakka had more comedy than tidus had. I could be wrong they may had been on the same standard with that. Also I do love tidus voice as well. Any girl who would had played the game to hear that....of course she will fall for him. I have to admit I did as well. XD

tidus voice was done by  James Arnold Taylor. and boy is this guy a great voice actor...check him out on wiki. XD

I'm gonna go with Yuri Lowenthal as Cecil. Sure Yuri Lowenthal is overused (I could name 5 things he's in right off the top of my head), but with Cecil, he gave a very different kind of voice then the usual. He sounds just like I'd expect Cecil to sound, calm, collected, and resolute.

My favorite actor would be Troy Baker. I really liked him as Snow in Final Fantasy 13. It could come off as cheesy at times, but hey, it's Final Fantasy lol. I always loved Snow's character, and Troy definitely did him justice. And as a bonus, he did Joel's voice in The Last of Us, which is my favorite game.
