Currently I am reading the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, something that I wanted to read from quite a long time, but in my native tongue (Hungarian) it was only available in abridged editions. Then finally, in 2020, the full novel got a Hungarian release. And a friend of mine gifted me a copy of it for Christmas.

Well I just finished a re-read of American Gods, this time an extended version. Not sure why I am going to next to be entirely honest though. I recently went through Enders Game again so I might do a continuation of those books. I have Speaker for the Dead around here I am sure...

I just recently bought the collection of Percy Jackson books because I really wanted to read them all over again to prepare for when the show comes out. Over the last 1 and a half weeks I've been slowly going through The Lightning Thief, got around half way through so far and I love it as much as I did the first time I read it.

While I do not usually read many books, lately I have been reading the Peter Rabbit books by Beatrix Potter because they are definitely a classic and a must read from anyone in my opinion.

I just started reading Beyond Order by Jordan Peterson, it is the follow up to 12 Rules For Life: An Antidote to Chaos. The first book was unbelievably tremendous, so I am excited to start this one.

Right now I'm reading a new Gravity Falls book that came out earlier this year. It's just a retelling of some of the best Gravity Falls episode but in book form. It's my favorite show of all time though, so I knew that I had to read the book, and it was on sale too which was a plus.

I am currently reading series of unfortunate events, in the beginning. Right now I'm at the part where the Bordeliers are escaping from Count Olaf.

All in all, it is a pretty good read. I got interested in reading it because I've been watching the television series on Netflix.

Right now I'm reading Divergent. On Friday I found a copy at Goodwill for only 20 cents so I picked it up. I read it once as part of a class thing but never got to finish it so I'm going to now.

I have just started reading The Alchemist and whoo boy this book is a wild one and really insightful I'm not that far into it. But I'm starting to see why so many have loved and talked about this book for years.

I just finished reading a collection of poems called "Second Space" by Czeslaw Milosz. Apparently, he won the Nobel Prize, so I'm surprised I didn't hear about him or his work until having to read some of it for college. It was nice being able to read his poetry for fun, and it blows my mind that he was still making solid, wisdom-filled poetry even in his nineties. That's gotta take a lot of dedication, and he must have just had too many ideas in his mind all the time!

I've been reading a bit of Ohio Motor Vehicle Laws to try to get ready to take my permit test soonish since I've decided learning to drive is a good idea. It's been a slow process because I don't really enjoy reading it all that much.

Right now, I'm trying to read a book called Dream West, it's a western mostly about Charles Fremont. I'm reading it because I saw it at a Second Hand store, and mostly because I know it had gotten a tv movie 35 years ago which my mother had taped. And it's a good thing the tape has still survived because there were commercials in that set I was itching to upload, and these were old....like Canada still had KMart old. I've opted to read the book rather than look for the movie on youtube (which I already have it's all in parts)

Monday was my first official day of the semester. I had a Climate Crisis class on Monday and then on Tuesday I had an arts criticism class and a sports reporting class. As a result, I started reading a variety of books on global warming and books by sports writers during the final week of summer to get myself motivated for the start of class.

I just finished reading the Neverending Story book yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it, even though the movie is very dated, I still liked the concept and was always curious about reading the book and I'm glad I did. Currently deciding on what I'll be reading in its place.

I had a couple Fire Emblem books arrive over the last couple of weeks and I started reading those. One of them is the visual works book for Fire Emblem fates, which is mostly in Japanese but it had a lot of info and art on all of the characters and different aspects of the game, so I would spend a few minutes each day going through it before I go to bed.
