FINALLY was able to get into the club Nintendo site long enough this morning (like 4 a.m. this morning) to get to the download code for Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

I let it download while I went to bed, and started playing when I woke up. Just so you know, I have never played an Animal Crossing game, nor have I really seen much
from any Animal Crossing games. I've never watched a playthrough or anything, so I wasn't really sure what to expect.

Unbearably cute was NOT what I expected (I don't know why, it's a town full of little animals in clothing, so I should have). I haven't  awwwwed so much at a videogame since I started playing SPORE, for pity's sake. EVERYTHING IS SO CUTE.  My nearest neighbor is a little lady deer in a yellow sundress, and I swear I could follow her around and watch her shake trees for oranges all day long, just so I can watch the animations of her walking.

People are saying that the final rewards are crap. I don't think so. I am VERY happy with this game!

What reward did you get (or are trying to get) and are you happy with it?

I already own most of the games that are being offered as club nintendo rewards, but I managed to get Super Mario 64 from the site! I now get to relive a big part of my childhood without having to use an emulator.

gamerforlifeforever2 : Good on you! I had the offered Zelda games, but that was it. No money. And good that you got something you wanted, yay for not having to use an emulator! That's always a good thing.

I'm just really, really happy I got New Leaf. I've wanted the game for a long time, but what can you do when money is a big issue? XD I hope you enjoy SM64, though, I've heard it's a really good game. :3
