Whether you're rooting for one particular team to win the championship, or if you simply want your bracket to not get busted, many people watch and love the NCAA Men's Basketball torunament. However, I've been wondering, does anyone here pay attention to the Women's Tournament? Up until a few days ago, I never even followed that tourney. I started paying attention though once I learned that the Dayton Flyers had made it to the Elite 8! Unfortunately, a few days ago their run ended when they got beat by UCONN... Now I'm not paying any more attention to that tourney, instead I'll just focus on the men.

Yes I used to watch the ncaa women's basketball tourney a lot. I am only watching the guy's currently right now though. I pay attention more to the guy's than the girl's. I have followed the girl's a while though. I guess you could say I follow both guy and girl's evenly but the guy's just a bit more.

I find women's basketball unwatchable.  I watch hoops for the spectacle, not for fundamentals.  And it's always the same few teams anyway: Notre Dame, Baylor, UConn, and Tennessee.  No one really has a shot because those teams command the majority of collegiate athletes.

I have been paying attention to the Women's Basketball Tournament for a little bit.  I've been cheering for the South Carolina Lady Gamecocks because they have been doing the best out of all the athletic programs so far.  They made the Final Four but they were eliminated by Notre Dame.

All there is to know about women's college basketball is Geno Auriemma and his UConn Huskies. I saw last night that he won his 10th national championship, tying him for the most championships all time in NCAA sports with John Wooden.

The women's college basketball tournament is easy to make a bracket for, most of the time. There aren't very many upsets...no where near like the upsets in men's basketball sometimes. Like this year...all the #1 seeds made it to the Final Four, and UConn won it all again. I don't really pay any attention to it because the same thing seems to happen every year.

I have to admit, I did watch it until Princeton lost to Maryland. Because Princeton was only a #8 seed, I thought they might actually upset Maryland...not. That was really disappointing.

I have to admit, with UCONN winning all the time, I never pay attention to the women's tournaments. That being said, I admit that they don't get enough attention, and that they should get more. I'm just saying that it is not my scene is all.

thing1 : I totally agree with you there. UCONN wins like almost every year it seems like and it gets very repetitive. If only my Flyers would've been able to beat them... Oh well.

There was a women's college basketball tournament...?

When was this?

As you can tell, I don't pay attention to women's basketball.

It's kind of sexist, but women's sports are just not nearly as much fun to watch.
