Hey everyone I have made a poem. As the description says, that is the title of my poem or whatever you would like to call it. I hope y'all like it because every word is my own

What is a friend?
  A friend is someone you trust
that you go to when you need to talk
  A friend comforts you at times
when you need to let things out
  A friend is one you can go to
with your problems, so that you can talk about them
  A friend is a special person you
  can consider a brother/sister

What does a friend do?
  Fights for you to keep you safe
  Relates to you
  Is there for you when yu need to talk about things
  Extends a helpful hand
  Never talks behind your back
  Doesn't turn his/her back on you

So, you tell me: What is a friend?
Does a friend tell you secrets that no one
  else knows?
Does a friend have your back until the
  very end?
Is a friend there for you when you
  need to talk?

A friend, to me, does all those things.
They are someone, family or not, you
  can talk to on a daily basis.
So, I say, don't ever let a friend go
  because of your mistakes
We all make mistakes and we just
  gotta learn from them
Friends should understand we don't
  make mistakes on purpose
Friends should care for you even
  when you're in a bad mood

So what is a friend?
They are loyal
They are trustworthy
They help you when you need it
They are there for you to talk to
They comfort you
They joke around
Best of all, They are there for you until the
  very end

This is what a friend is!!

A very good description of a friend, it's definitely more in line with my opinion than the opinions of some "friends" I've thought I had before. lol

Good poem PokePal435. Keep being creative and writing. I have a thread where I was writing poems too but unfortunately poems don't get a whole lot of attention in here. Don't let that discourage you. Keep writing and expressing yourself.

Brain-Splattered : Thx for the awesome feedback on my poem. I don't really write poems much cause I have nothing that comes to mind to write about. When I do have something in mind I want to write it down as soon as it comes to mind so I don't let it go. Thx again for the positive feedback. It makes me feel good
