mlb789 : Except he hasn't been in the Minecraft Server. So unless he lied about it, I doubt it's him. And as fishy as the current situation may seem right now, I'll trust Pac's judgement here and assume the murderer indeed hasn't lied in any of his questions. He might be purposely misleading, but I'd like to think it's nothing more than that.

mvhupsel : I likely missed this, but are we just taking his word for it or is it confirmed, because he owns minecraft on PC? If that's true that he didn't then I'll retract it.

Also i think the best chance of catching the culprit is with that minecraft question, It is the question that easily makes the list smaller... So perhaps we should start from their

Now to the more important matters... I went on and started ruling out users based on the answers we got thus far, the list grew really short.

I'll leave a TL;DR at the bottom since that'll be a wall of text, I'd rather not risk missing my point because someone was lazy to read.

That was the list of suspects of the Minecraft Server:

Funny thing is, most of them are dead, or likely clear due to other questions. And the murderer helped out on that task. It wasn't the brightest choice to kill members based on influence, when they were still possible suspects.

The current suspects list based ONLY on the Minecraft Server would consist of:

zanderlex
earthwarrior
Zlinqx
Frodlex

Now, I think it's safe to rule out Frodlex and zanderlex. Frodlex due to the sports question and zander based on his activity, which can't possibly be 6/10.

That leaves us with 2 suspects. Just two.

Honestly, a 50/50 chance is the best thing we've had so far. Depending on our question, we can finish this on the next lynch.

I know earthwarrior likes Pokemon to a decent extent (he worked on a romhack before), plus Zlinqx is a fan as well (heck, his layout is a picture of a stunfisk). I don't think a Pokemon question would help out a whole bunch in this situation.

That leaves us with the choice of coming up with a new question, or using the one I suggested.

"What's your favorite video-game RPG?"

I say there's a pretty decent chance to nail it down to one of the two based on the answer. I wanna see what you guys think.

TL;DR: Zlinqx and earthwarrior are our prime suspects based on the answers and "What's your favorite video-game RPG?" would be a good question to rule one of them out.

mvhupsel : To add onto your post, I looked at their game profiles. Zlinqx, while he has played quite a few football games, hasn't played as many RPGs as earthwarrior has. I certainly would play my favorite genre of game more than a game of a sport that I might possibly like. I'm not saying Zlinqx doesn't like RPGs, but you'd think he'd play them a bit more often if it were his favorite genre. I know earthwarrior likes Earthbound, a good RPG series, so he's my prime suspect with Zlinqx hanging a close second.

Popeye116 is still a suspect. His account has been on the minecraft erver before. The RPG question should clear two of the three suspects. I'd have the say earthbound is my favorite and popeye likes mother 3 more than earthbound. (mother 3 is in the same series as earthbound.

Im still a bit confused with the favourite Pokemon generation. I can't see how that would really help us unless they say something like "I don't like Pokemon".

I think "What's your favourite RPG would work out a bit better". If it then ends up being Pokemon then we can proceed with the favourite gen if it would help.

I think Zlinqx is more likely than earthwarrior.

Popeye116 : I didn't know that you could disable the Minecraft Server info from showing on your profile. That opens up for more possible suspects.

Could anyone who play on the Minecraft server often let us know if the people who had a FoS on them thus far are clear of suspicion? We'll need to make sure they haven't played on the Minecraft Server (at least when the question was asked) in order to be sure they're clear.

zanderlex : There's only one issue with asking about the favorite RPG franchise. If Popeye116 is still a suspect, it's possible that his answer is the same as earthwarrior's answer. If we can clear up Popeye116 from suspicion, I would actually prefer your question over my own.

EDIT: Forgot to address thing's question. Answer is, I have no idea. I don't check the Sports forum often, I'm not sure I ever did.

I'm voting for favorite RPG game. We haven't had a question with a single answer in a while.
If the murderer says a series then he'd be cheating. So if he'd say earthbound his favorite game would be earthbound not the series. And if he says final fantasy its final fantasy the game.

zanderlex : I have 3 posts in the sports forum while zlinqx has 2. I also have 4 times as many posts as he does so it makes sense I have more. Popeye has 6 posts in the sports forum and has about one third as many posts as me.

Just as a small reminder, phrasing the question as "What's your favorite RPG game?" leaves space for the murderer to say stuff like Dungeons and Dragons or anything that's not a video-game, but still an RPG game. Hence why I phrased it "What's your favorite video-game RPG?"

Also as i never replied me and leggy thought the question was a good indication of how old a person may or may not be.. Of course there would be people who differ, but most seem to pick the first one they play...
