Smash 64 - I tend to side with Kirby, who is easily among the top three (and just recently in the metagame solidified a top two spot that has often been in contention between him and Fox). Honestly, I started using him in 64 before I knew anything about the metagame. I just like using Kirby whenever I get the chance, honestly.

Melee - I've fallen off from being competitive in this addition to the series in favor of Smash 4, but that doesn't mean I don't still have a main! My main in Melee is Luigi. Yes, I realize he's not the best, and requires a lot of work to be able to succeed with. However, he was one of two characters I could regularly have fun with, once I found out how to do most of the advanced tech. Luigi makes wavedashing fun, too. My secondary worth noting in this game is actually the second worst, Pichu (originally, he was the worst, but Kirby has recently overtaken this spot). Fast, nimble, small. It's just everything I like in playing a character, honestly.

Brawl - I...didn't really play Brawl, to be perfectly honest. I just didn't like its flow, or its excessive floatiness. Nonetheless, I did have some semblance of a main in that game, and it came in Pokemon Trainer. More specifically, I used Squirtle, and Ivysaur when Squirtle tired out. I enjoyed some of the options he had over every other character from his dash, including using the momentum from his turnaround animation to shoot yourself forward (or backward!). He was a joy for me to play, and the only reason I would try to take Brawl seriously.

Smash 4 - Kirby, Kirby, Kirby. For the first time since Smash 64, Kirby has looked good enough to show his face in viable competition, and I couldn't resist the opportunity to main the pink puffball once again. His crouch-to-dodge metagame is actually viable in some matchups, he has some nice ground and aerial game, and is one of the undeniable monarchs of the way of the gimp with his down-air. His aerial ability leaves much to be desired, and overall, he can have some tough times killing outright. Moreover, being the fourth lightest in the game (in combination with the aspect of rage), he's always in danger of losing the stock first. However, he's been a blast for me to play as, and my fundamentals pay off huge dividends with him. I also have a secondary, but I'd rather stay quiet about it for now.

Kirby or Sonic The HedgeHog would be the ones I play the most or mainly my main's I guess you could say. I sometimes switch it up though and play all the characters.

I've never played the latest title, but with the other three my main was always Link. I always loved how balanced he is as a character and his smash attacks do work. I also loved his final smash in brawl, but I have used him since the original N64 title. He's always been who I used and who I'm best with. I loved his L-button pose in the 64 title as well

Mynamescox44 : I gotta be honest, Link sucked bad in Brawl. But I do think he's super fun in Melee, and more-so in Smash 64. Although he is bottom tier and I don't main him, N64 Link is so dang fun. I definitely think he's the most underrated character in the original title. As for Melee, he's a bit slow for me but I love his edgeguard shenanigans.

In Brawl, I was all over Fox and Pit. In Melee I only used Roy. And now, in the new one, I mainly use Robin, Lucina, and Lucario. I've never cared for tier rankings, I just go for who's the most fun to use

My main is Donkey Kong III. He's quite robust, and a simple yet awesome fighter, who is actually quite adept.

I've never actually owned any of the Smash games, so I don't consider myself to be great at them, I normally just pick whomever and try to have fun. XD

I do tend to do really well with the Fire Emblem characters (Counterattack is the best XD), so I do really well with Marth or Roy, preferring Marth. Ike is a monster, but a slow monster. It's very satisfying to knock everyone around the map, but if you're playing against someone with skill (like all of my friends who own the game XD), then I can barely get any decent hits with him.

I do like Ganondorf and Captain Falcon though.

In Melee I got insanely good with Zelda (Not Shiek, I switch to Shiek and suicide all the time XD), and Pikachu (I always wear the hat and call him Truckerchu XD).

I did like playing Samus as well.

I would have to say Link as he is the only character I can beat Master Core with, doesn't say much when you go online and you can't get a  single hit because everyone can do combos that of a god

I don't play Smash Bros very often (with the exception of Project M), but I'll put my mains for PM, Melee, and Sm4sh.

Super Smash Bros Melee

Primary: Marth

Secondary: Jigglypuff, Roy

Super Smash Bros Project M

Primary: Roy

Secondary: Marth, Jigglypuff, Ike, Captain Falcon*, Link**

Super Smash Bros 4 WiiU

Primary: Roy

Secondary: Mega Man, Marth, Zero Suit Samus*/**, Shulk*

*not quite a secondary yet, still learning his/her moveset and such.
**Used to be my main, but not anymore

I've had to put Smash aside for a while thanks to real life, but now that I'm getting back into it, I'll name my new mains.

SSB64: Pikachu/Fox
Melee: Roy
Brawl: Falco/Mario/Ike/Ness
Sm4sh: Ness/Greninja/Little Mac

If there are multiple, then that just means I played with them by alternating each time.

gamerforlifeforever2 : it's abnormal but when I had Smash 4 I mailed Mewtwo, his attacks were just so easy to connect with, it was all about getting them to a certain percent, and either grabbing them surprising them with a well placed up Smash or deflecting my own ball at them in energy ball tennis.
